The popularity of Google Gemini is continuously increasing. Last month, it overtook ChatGPT to become the most downloaded AI assistant from Apple’s App Store. Along with this, the market share of Gemini is also increasing and now it has become the most used chatbot after ChatGPT.

The Delhi government is now going to give AI training to the teachers of schools. So that they can make education more effective, interesting and expressed for children. Special initiative of AI training of teacher in Delhi has been taken by the State Council of Educational Research and Training. Under which the teacher will be given practical training.

According to SCERT, this training will be held on 8 and 9 October. This program is being run under the AI-Middle class project. The purpose of which is to make teachers skilled in the use of modern technology. Through this project, teachers will not only be able to make education easier but will also make the evaluation process more accurate.

Training program will run in two phases

This program run by SCERT will run in two phases. In the first phase, 100 computer science teachers of 50 government schools will be trained. This teacher will later work as a master trainer in their respective schools and will inform the rest of the teachers about the correct use of AI Tools. At the same time, in the second phase, teachers of Meths, Science, English, Hindi and Social Science, who teach from class 6 to 9, will be trained at the school level. 15 teachers of these subjects will be involved in training from every selected school. According to SCERT officials, AI tools will make teachers easier. Generally, it takes a long time to prepare a presentation, to prepare a presentation, to edit visual or outline a program. At the same time, with this training, AI will now help in these works, so that teachers will be able to interact more with students and will also be able to pay attention to the quality of studies. This training program will include tools like AI tools napkins and gamma, which provide immediate facilities to create image and power point presentation from the text.

Teachers and students will be ready for future

SCERT believes that this initiative has been started keeping in mind the needs of the future. AI based education will not only increase the capacity of teachers, but students will also be prepared for knowledge of digital technology. The department said that there are about 16,633 teachers and 8.24 lakh students in 1,075 government schools in Delhi.

Of these, 50 schools have been selected for the first phase of this project. The purpose of this initiative is to connect teachers with new teaching technology. With the help of AI tools, the class will not only be more interactive, but the result of learning will also be better. SCERT has said that later reviews and feedback sessions of this initiative will also be organized, so that it can be ascertained how effectively the teachers are able to use these tools.
