• VSHORAD Missile System: Its open architecture enables it to integrate with short-range air defense missiles like India’s Akash-NG or QRSAM. Gun and missile together create a strong and layered defense for this.
• AHEAD Technology: In Advanced Hit Efficiency Destruction (AHEAD) technology, the bullets burst in the air and release small pieces of tungsten, which destroy the drone in mid-air. It has more than 90 percent hide rate on micro drones, whereas normal bullets have no effect on micro drones.

The Indian Army is now preparing to use maximum use of a medium -range Quick Reaction Surface to Air (QRESAM) missile, which kills the enemy missile very fast.
