These cities are now beginning to look like gas chambers. People here do not see any relief from pollution in the coming days.

Loni remains the most polluted area of ​​the state

According to the data of Central Pollution Control Board, even on Friday 5th December, Loni area of ​​Ghaziabad remained the most polluted area of ​​the state. Here the AQI has come down to 400 but the air is still very bad. The air quality index in Loni this morning was recorded at 381, while in Vasundhara it was 303 and in Indirapuram the AQI was 290.

Most pollution in these cities of UP

There is no respite from the level of air pollution in Noida also. Even today the AQI here remains between 280 to 380. Which is considered to be of bad to very bad category. Today AQI 367 was recorded in Noida Sector-125, while AQI in Sector-116 was 346 and Noida Sector-62 AQI was 286. AQI was 337 in Knowledge Park-5 of Greater Noida.

Talking about other cities of UP, Hapur had the most polluted air today. The AQI here was recorded at 350, while 321 was recorded in Baghpat, 287 in Pallavpuram of Meerut and 265 in Bulandshahr. The level of air pollution has increased in the capital Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur. The air quality index here remains in the yellow zone.

Ghaziabad remains the most polluted city of UP

In Ghaziabad itself, AQI has been recorded at 343 in Indirapuram, while in Sanjay Nagar area the air quality index has been recorded at 305. The air quality was recorded at 378 in Sector-125 of Noida, while AQI 391 was recorded in Noida Sector-116, AQI 360 in Sector-1. Knowledge Park-5 of Greater Noida had the highest AQI of 398.

Air pollution level increased again

There was a slight improvement in the poisonous air in Noida-Ghaziabad in the last week of November. At many places the AQI of the air had fallen below 300. Due to increase in wind speed, there was a decrease in the level of pollution, but now it has increased once again.

Pollution has increased in other cities of UP compared to the last two-three days. Today the air quality index was 344 in Hapur, 317 in Pallavapuram, Meerut, 301 in Muzaffarnagar and 285 in Bulandshahr. This air is also considered to be of very bad category. Which is not good for health.

Every year during the winter season, the level of air pollution increases in the districts of UP adjacent to Delhi NCR. Due to cold, the dust and smoke particles present in the atmosphere are not able to go up and dissolve in the air, due to which the level of pollution in the air increases. The Meteorological Department has predicted further increase in cold in the coming days, hence at present people do not seem to be getting any relief from it.

No respite from pollution in Noida-Ghaziabad

Along with the cold, people are also troubled by the pollution in the air. The air in the big cities of the state has remained poisonous for almost a month. Water is being sprayed continuously to prevent pollution in Noida and Ghaziabad, but it does not seem to be having any significant effect. The pollution level in both the districts still remains between 350 to 400.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board, at 6.30 am on Wednesday, Sector-125 of Noida was the most polluted area, where AQI was recorded at 399, which is in the very poor category. Whereas AQI 372 has been recorded in Noida Sector-116, AQI 358 has been recorded in Greater Noida Knowledge Park-5.

The AQI was 378 in Loni, Ghaziabad, 316 in Indirapuram and 311 in Sanjay Nagar. 369 AQI was recorded in Hapur, 332 in Pallavapuram, Meerut and 276 in Bulandshahr. The air in Lalbagh area of ​​the capital Lucknow is also in poor category. AQI 249 has been recorded here. Which is considered bad grade air.

Ghaziabad becomes the most polluted city

According to the data of Central Pollution Control Board i.e. CPBC, Loni area of ​​Ghaziabad remained the most polluted on Friday. The air quality index here reached 469, which falls in the severe category of air. The situation in other areas of Ghaziabad is also not good. Here AQI 443 was recorded in Sanjay Nagar and 413 AQI was recorded in Indirapuram.

Air in severe category in Noida-Meerut also

In Noida, on Friday, AQI 437 was recorded in Sector-125, 431 in Sector-116 and AQI 400 was recorded in Sector-1. AQI 433 has been recorded in Knowledge Park-5, Greater Noida. The level of air pollution at three of the four stations of Noida-Ghaziabad remained in the severe category.

Meerut, adjacent to Delhi, is continuously being hit by pollution. Here too, the way pollution has increased since the winter, there is no sign of it decreasing. This morning, AQI was 424 recorded in Pallavapuram area of ​​Meerut, while AQI was 417 in Hapur and 383 in Baghpat.

Experts say that people do not seem to be getting any relief from the poisonous air at present. The Meteorological Department has predicted fog and cold wave in most parts of the state. In such a situation the cold will increase further. Due to fog, dust and smoke particles dissolved in the air will remain in the atmosphere, relief from this can be achieved only after rain.
