Alert for heavy rain has been issued from the capital Delhi, UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Bengal to Bihar. Many parts of Delhi received heavy rainfall on Sunday (July 13, 2025). NCR cities Sonipat, Kharkhauda, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Sohana, Palwal, Nuh, Aurangabad, Hodal (Haryana), Baghpat, Khekra, Pilkhua, Nandgaon (UP) Bhiwadi, Tijara (Rajasthan) received heavy rains till 9 pm.

The Meteorological Department said that light to moderate rains are likely in West Bengal, Sikkim, Northeast India, Bihar, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and parts of Rajasthan on Monday. Light rains are expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Central Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of extremely heavy rains at different places in East Rajasthan till July 15 and on 14 and 15 July in western Rajasthan. There is a possibility of heavy rains at different places in Jammu and Kashmir Himachal Pradesh till 17 July. Heavy rains are expected in Uttarakhand till July 19, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, western Uttar Pradesh and eastern Uttar Pradesh on July 17 and 18.
