Mustafizur Rahman has been expelled from IPL, Bangladesh has refused to come to India to play the T20 World Cup. Apart from this, Bangladesh has also banned the telecast of IPL in its country. India and Bangladesh are at loggerheads on this issue, and reacting to this entire controversy, former cricketer Aakash Chopra said that he fully supports BCCI’s decision to release Mustafizur Rahman.

Akash Chopra said in clear words that within the last one year, minorities have been treated cruelly in Bangladesh. He also said that if these incidents are not stopped in Bangladesh, Hindu people will be wiped out from there.

Aakash Chopra showed mirror to Bangladesh

Aakash Chopra has fully supported BCCI’s decision to expel Mustafizur Rahman from IPL. Explaining the reason behind BCCI’s instruction to suddenly release Mustafizur, he said that for this it is important for people to understand the situation in Bangladesh.

This former Indian cricketer said, “For the last one year, cruelty against minorities has been going on in Bangladesh and these days Hindus are being killed. That entire community will disappear, they have already been reduced to half. On our left side, the same has happened in Pakistan. The population of minorities used to be quite large, but now they have almost disappeared. Now Bangladesh is also moving on the same path.”

gave example of pakistan

Aakash Chopra said that it is not Mustafizur Rahman’s fault here, but the incident of 26/11 was also not done by Pakistani cricketers, but the whole of Pakistan had to suffer its consequences. After that Pakistani players were banned from IPL. Akash also said that cricketers need to understand that if their country does wrong, they will personally have to suffer the consequences.

The Indian team has been announced for the 2026 T20 World Cup, due to which the exclusion of Shubman Gill was much talked about. Now former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has prepared a squad for the T20 World Cup of those players who have not been selected in the original squad of the World Cup. The surprising thing is that Chopra has also kept Shubman Gill out of his 13-member squad. Besides, he has also prepared an alternative playing eleven for the World Cup.

Aakash Chopra handed over the responsibility of opening to Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rituraj Gaikwad. Akash believes that Gaikwad is an excellent batsman, on the other hand, according to him, it is unfortunate that Jaiswal has been dropped from the team despite his explosive batting and being in form. He has also selected KL Rahul, he can also be seen as an opening option.

Shreyas Iyer captain, this batsman in middle order

Aakash Chopra made Shreyas Iyer the captain. He has included 3 wicketkeeper batsmen in his squad in the form of Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Jitesh Sharma. Jitesh had made the most of the opportunities he got in the recent T20 series against Australia and South Africa, yet he did not get a place in the actual World Cup squad. Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan have been selected as wicketkeepers in the real World Cup squad. He has handed over the role of fast bowling all-rounder to Nitish Kumar Reddy. Krunal Pandya will play the role of spin bowling all-rounder in his team.

Return of veteran among bowlers

In the alternate squad for the T20 World Cup 2026, Aakash Chopra has selected Yuzvendra Chahal as the main spinner, who has not played any international match for Team India after August 2023. Apart from Deepak Chahar and Mohammad Siraj, he has selected Bhuvneshwar Kumar for fast bowling. Kumar has 90 wickets in T20, but he has not played any T20 match for the Indian team after November 2022. At the same time, Mohammed Shami, who is out of Team India, has also been given a place in the team by Aakash Chopra.

Aakash Chopra’s alternate squad: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer (captain), Rishabh Pant, Jitesh Sharma, KL Rahul, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Krunal Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Deepak Chahar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra has revealed that former England all-rounder Moeen Ali once trolled him. Chopra told that during England’s tour of India in 2016, when he expressed his opinion about Moeen Ali, he was trolled.

Aakash Chopra, while commenting at that time, had pointed out a flaw in Moeen Ali’s batting, which the former England star did not like. This left-handed player scored a century in the fifth and last Test of the series against India and then trolled Aakash Chopra on social media.

Aakash Chopra said on a YouTube channel, “A fellow cricketer trolled me. If fans are trolling you, you get used to it. It happened when I was working for Cricinfo and while doing some analysis, I talked about the problems Moeen Ali was having in playing the short ball. We made a demo which showed why he couldn’t play the short ball. It happened during the Chennai Test and he scored a century later in that match.”

Aakash Chopra further said, “The same evening he made a tweet in which he posted my statistics. He was clearly angry. Since he was a fellow cricketer, I replied to him that at least you have no problem with my analysis. You have a problem with my statistics, I agree, but you did not find any fault in my analysis because now it is my job.”

The former Indian batsman said, “Interestingly, the next morning Ishant Sharma was bowling and India had deployed three fielders in the deep. Bouncers were bowled right from the start. He hit a four and then got out. I thought my point was accepted but of course, I could not go to Moeen and say, look, my analysis was right. However, he later apologised.

Ravindra Jedeja IPL Trade: Former Indian cricketer and commentator Aakash Chopra has given the reason for the trade of star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja from Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to Rajasthan Royals (RR). This trade is one of the biggest trades in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), in which Sanju Samson went to Chennai, while Jadeja and Sam Curran joined Rajasthan. The surprising thing in this is that Sanju Samson went to CSK for Rs 18 crore, which was his old fee, but Ravindra Jadeja has joined RR for Rs 14 crore, which was reduced from his fee of Rs 18 crore.

Why the cut in Jadeja’s fees?

While talking on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra has given the reason for Jadeja’s fee cut. He said, ‘Rajasthan has got Jadeja, but he has reduced his fees. I am wondering whether he got the fees reduced and left CSK? Because the price of a player cannot be changed without his consent. Chopra emphasized that why would any player reduce his fees, especially when he has been such a big match winner for his old team. He said, ‘Jadeja has taken Rs 4 crore less to leave Chennai, which is very surprising.’

Jadeja ‘greed’ for captaincy

While talking in that video, Akash said that maybe Jadeja was bored with the environment of Chennai and did not want to live there. However, this could have been done by going to the auction also, but the biggest question that Akash raised was whether Jadeja was lured by Rajasthan for captaincy. Was this the incentive for which Jadeja went to Rajasthan? This is very interesting, but there could be some other reason behind it.

The auction process for the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026) is likely to take place in mid-December. The deadline for franchises to submit the list of their retained and released players is November 15, meanwhile there is news that Sunrisers Hyderabad can release Heinrich Klaasen. This will also be shocking because the team had retained him for Rs 23 crore in the last edition. However, the former Indian cricketer does not think that Hyderabad will release Klaasen.

Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra believes that the chances of Sunrisers Hyderabad releasing Heinrich Klaasen are very slim. However, the former player also said that in the last few years we have seen strange things in IPL.

The last date for all 10 teams to declare their retention players before the auction is likely to be November 15. The auction may take place in the second week of next month (December). According to a report in Times of India, Sunrisers Hyderabad management is considering releasing Klaasen before the auction. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Chopra shared his views on this report and said that perhaps Hyderabad is not keen on releasing Klaasen Ko.

Aakash Chopra said, “There is a lot of talk about Heinrich Klaasen. There are reports that Sunrisers Hyderabad may consider releasing him as it will save Rs 23 crore. I am thinking, you don’t buy a player for Rs 23 crore just to keep him for a year. Then, you release him and buy him back. I don’t think that will happen. As far as I know, there will be no RTM (Right To Match) also because it is a mini There will be an auction.”

Aakash Chopra further said, “Why would they release him? I think it’s just a rumour. I don’t think Heinrich Klaasen will be released so easily and sent to the auction. But, strange things have happened in the past too, so let’s see. We’ll wait and see.”

Former India cricketer Akash Chopra has predicted that Karun Nair will rarely be able to return to Team India. Australia A team is going to visit India soon, where Nair has not found a place in the squad of 2 unofficial Test matches. Karun Nair is the same batsman who returned to Team India after 7 years, but was able to score only 205 runs on England tour. Akash Chopra has claimed that now perhaps the selectors have started looking for other options instead of Nair.

Akash Chopra said through his YouTube channel that he had got a second opportunity as per Karun Nair’s wish. He was fit and available, yet he was not selected in India A squad.

Akash Chopra said, “Unfortunately, now it seems as Karun Nair will not play further for Team India. It is not that he was unavailable. He is fit, yet he is not selected. It seems as if the selectors have started focusing on other players inste

Karun Nair flopped in England

Karun Nair was given a chance on number-3 on England Tour, as well as batting at number-5 and sixth order. On the entire England tour, he scored 205 runs in 8 innings at an average of just 25.63. He was able to score only one half -century in eight innings. He could perform well after performing well, but failed.

Big statement on Shreyas Iyer too

Why is Shreyas Iyer the captain of India A? Akash Chopra also insisted that the third and sixth sequence in the Indian team is still lying vacant. Chopra said that Sai Sudarshan and Abhimanyu Ishwaran are currently in the team, but Karun Nair is not. The former Indian cricketer hoped that Nair would be given a chance in the series with the West Indies, but now it is less expected.

Former Indian cricketer and commentator Akash Chopra said about Sanju Samson on his YouTube channel that Kolkata Knight Riders can consider inclusion of this player in his team.

CSK or KKR, in which team will Sanju go?

According to media reports, Sanju Samson himself has decided to release from Rajasthan Royals himself. At the same time, Samson recently met Chennai Super Kings coach Stephen Fleming during Major League cricket in the US, since then there was speculation that Sanju Samson also went to CSK.

Commentator Akash Chopra said about changing Sanju Samson’s team that KKR’s name comes in my mind before CSK. Kolkata does not have any wicketkeeper batsman. In such a situation, if the team needs more depth in batting and you are getting a captain, then what is the evil in this.

Akash Chopra also praised Ajinkya Rahane, captain in IPL 2025 of Kolkata. Akash Chopra said that Rahane did better batting along with captaincy last season, but KKR can think about Sanju Samson given his age.

Venkatesh Iyer will be released?

Akash Chopra told to improve KKR’s budget that Kolkata can release Venkatesh Iyer from his team and add Rs 24 crore to the budget. Let us know that last season KKR bought Venkatesh Iyer for Rs 23.75 crore and he was included in the top 5 in the list of most expensive players of IPL 2025.

Akash chopra announced team of uncapped ipl xi: The IPL is over and Royal Challengers Bangalore has won the title this time. Now former India opener Akash Chopra has formed a team. This team belongs to the best unaccounted Indian players for the year 2025. Let’s see whom he has given place in playing 11.

Who included in Akash Chopra’s best unacceptable team
Akash Chopra has announced this team on his YouTube channel. Talking about Akash Chopra’s playing XI, he has chosen Prabhasimran Singh and Priyansh Arya of Punjab Kings as an opener. At the same time, he has kept 14 -year -old Vaibhav Suryavanshi of Rajasthan Royals on number three.

At the same time, he has made the captain of his team to Finisher Shashank Singh of Punjab Kings. Apart from these players, he has included Naman Dhir of Mumbai Indians, Nehal Vadhera of PBKS, Vijaykumar Vaishak, left -arm spinner Harpreet Brar, Spin all -rounder Vipraj Nigam of Delhi Capitals.

Selection of the best team of the tournament
With the conclusion of IPL 2025, ESPN Cricinfo has selected the best team of the tournament in which Shreyas Iyer has been made captain while star batsman Virat Kohli has also got a place in the team. Let’s take a look at it.

Sai Sudarshan (Gujarat Titans)

Innings 15 | Run 759 | Strike Rate 156.17 | Average 54.21 | 1×100/6×50

Sai Sudarshan was at the forefront of scoring runs and only reached Suryakumar Yadav, who was 50 runs behind him. He scored 30 or more runs in 12 innings out of 15, of which seven times were half -centuries. His strike rate (156.17) was the best strike rate of his IPL journey till date, which was more than 141.40 in 2023.

Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

Innings 15 | Run 657 | Strike Rate 144.71 | Average 54.75 | 8×50

This season, Virat Kohli finally got the IPL trophy after 18 years. This was the third consecutive season for him, where he scored more than 600 runs. His eight half -centuries came in the victory of RCB, while only four half -centuries of any other batsman came in victory. In RCB’s 11 wins, Kohli scored 584 runs, while no other batsman could score 450 runs.

Joss Butler (Gujarat Titans)

Innings 13 | Run 538 | Strike Rate 163.03 | Average 59.77 | 5×50

Jose Butler showed a great game for Gujarat Titans (GT) in the role of number three. This was his best strike rate IPL season. He scored four half -centuries at a strike rate above 170, including an unbeaten 97 -run innings in 54 balls against Delhi Capitals (DC).

Suryakumar Yadav (Mumbai Indians)

Innings 16 | Run 717 | Strike Rate 167.91 | Average 65.18 | 5×50

Suryakumar Yadav made a tremendous comeback after a poor round of T20 international matches. He scored at least 25 runs in each innings, which is a world record in the men’s T20 tournament. He was seen handling the entire batting for Mumbai Indians (MI). He was also the most influential player of this season.

Shreyas Iyer (Captain) (Punjab Kings)

Innings 17 | Run 604 | Strike Rate 175.07 | Average 50.33 | 6×50

Shreyas Iyer changed the fate of Punjab Kings (PBKS). As a batsman, he played two best innings- 97* (42) against GT at the beginning of the season and 87* (41) against MI in the end of the season, which brought Punjab to the final.

Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians)

Match 15 | Run 224 | Strike Rate 163.50 | Wicket 14 | Economy 9.77

This season was not special for all -rounders, but Hardik took the responsibility of bowling in the opening matches in Bumrah’s absence and took 10 wickets in the first four matches. He also played some fast innings in the role of Finisher, including 42 (15) against RCB, 48* (23) against RR and 22* (9) runs against GT.

Match 15 | Run 261 | Strike Rate 176.35 | Catch/Stumping 19/1

Whenever Jitesh Sharma scored runs, scored in a fierce manner. His 40* (19) innings gave RCB the first win against MI in ten years. 85* (33) against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and 24 runs in 10 balls in the final against PBKS were also decisive. He was also the most successful behind the wicket.

Krunal Pandya (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

Match 15 | Wicket 17 | Economy 8.23 | Run 109 | Strike Rate 126.74

Noor Ahmed (Chennai Super Kings)

Innings 14 | Wicket 24 | Economy 8.2 | Average 17.0

Noor Ahmed has not reached the playoffs, the only players in the team who have made a place in this team. He was far ahead of the rest of the spinners and missed the purple cap by just one wicket. He took two or more wickets in the innings six times and was among the most regular wickets taking wickets.

Jaspreet Bumrah (Mumbai Indians)

Innings 12 | Wicket 18 | Economy 6.67 | Average 17.55

Bumrah’s economy rate was the lowest among the bowlers with 5+ over. His economy in the death overs was 7.5, while another bowler was not less than 8.8. Seven times he gave less than six runs per over. He was a game changer for Mumbai. If he played the entire season, he would not stay away from the purple cap.

Famous Krishna (Gujarat Titans)

Innings 15 | Wicket 25 | Economy 8.27 | Average 19.52

Famous Krishna, who returned to the IPL after three years, won the Purple Cap.
(With PTI input)
