Gill became only the 5th batsman in the world, who has scored more than 400 runs in one Test match. England got a target of 608 runs in the fourth innings. Chasing the target, half of England’s team returned to the pavilion for a score of 84. On the fifth day, when the England batsmen landed in the field, it became clear in the first hour that the English team is batting with the intention of draw.
