Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav alleged large-scale misuse of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process of voter lists and claimed on Sunday that government-appointed professional agencies were targeting select booths where his party had won the elections.

SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav said, “The government has appointed some agencies which include professionals working from Delhi, Lucknow and other places across the country. They have the data of the entire voter list available and through this they are identifying the booths where the Samajwadi Party has won. ‘Form-VII’ is used to include someone’s name in the voter list or remove it from the list.

The former chief minister alleged that the SIR process has already influenced the election results. He said, “It is only through SIR that they have succeeded in winning Bihar elections. SIR has played an important role in this.” Akhilesh Yadav alleged that similar efforts are going on in West Bengal also. He said, “BJP is trying to do the same in West Bengal. That’s why the government and the Chief Minister are repeatedly saying that the Election Commission has become the BJP’s commission.

Referring to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s own advocacy in the Supreme Court, Yadav said, “She was forced to wear a black coat to appear in the Supreme Court against the BJP.” This shows what kind of discrimination is taking place and the Election Commission has become an ‘ally’ of BJP. The SP chief said that many party workers and ‘watchdogs’ of PDA (backward, Dalit, minority) had objected to the suspicious forms.

He said, “From time to time, our organization, PDA guards and responsible leaders and workers have handed us pre-filled forms.” Akhilesh Yadav also mentioned some specific cases. He said, “The matter related to Dasharatha and Nandlal has now come to light. Nandlal is with us today. I am happy that Bahadur Nandlal is standing with us.” Alleging fake signatures, Yadav said, “This is the same Nandlal whose signature was allegedly taken by BJP. Nandlal uses thumb impression.

Samajwadi Party chief and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav had claimed that there were irregularities in the Special Intensive Review (SIR) process regarding Form 7. He said that BJP people are getting the names of their voters deleted by submitting Form 7. In this, Akhilesh Yadav claimed that more than 100 forms were filled by a person in Farrukhabad Chillawan village of Sarojini Nagar assembly seat of Lucknow.

When ABP News team reached the ground regarding this, 3 BLOs were found in Chillawan Primary School. There are three BLOs present in this primary school per three booths and all three BLOs confirmed that they had received forms to delete the names of some people. One BLO told that he had received 127 forms, another said that he had received 27 forms and the third said that he also had about 40 to 50 forms. When they took the information to delete the names of the people, they came to know that all these people live nearby, all the people are alive and all the people are present at this booth, after which these people did not forward the form for deleting the names of those people.

ABP News found all those people present on the spot, whose names had been applied for deletion. Those people showed that their form has been submitted by a person named Dashrath Kumar or Dashrath Yadav and all those people are present here and they had not filled such form in any way and this wrong form has been submitted. People expressed their anger by showing their forms and said that while living here, they are alive and live in this place. Despite this, a big conspiracy is being hatched to erase his name by showing him as absent.

BLO had provided the forms – Dashrath Kumar

After this, the ABP News team also went to the place of the person whose name was being accused. Dashrath also reached Kumar’s house, during which all the people whose names were given to be cut also followed him. When Dashrath Kumar was asked to answer the question as to how he allowed the names of these people to be deleted, he said that the BLO had provided him the forms on which he submitted and asked that the BLO should investigate as per his own.

Pressure is being created to delete the name – BLO

After this, the village people present there also called the BLO to the spot and when the BLO came to the spot, there was an argument between the two. The BLO said that constant pressure is being put on him to remove his name, he has all the evidence for this, many audio recordings are also available and apart from this, other BLOs also came there. He said that Dashrath Kumar himself has submitted the forms here to delete the names of the people. Dashrath said that the BLO told him that these people are doubtful, on which he said that you sign, he will also do that.

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has once again made a big allegation regarding the SIR process in Uttar Pradesh. He has appealed for intervention from the court, Election Commission and media. Akhilesh Yadav made this appeal publicly through the media. He says that a conspiracy is going on in the villages to eliminate the names of opposition voters through misuse of Form-7.

Akhilesh Yadav said that under SIR, pre-printed Form-7 is being sent to the villages, through which any person can register an objection to get someone else’s name removed from the voter list. He raised the question that there is no clear idea as to who is sending this form and who the complainant is. It is alleged that the opposition’s votes are being systematically reduced by forging signatures.

He also said that the voters in whose name the objection is being filed are not being informed about it. Despite all the documents being correct, the process of removing names from the voter list is being adopted, which is a direct attack on the democratic system.

The Honorable Court, Election Commission and all the journalists should take cognizance of this big conspiracy as to who is sending the printed Form 7 (through which someone can object and conspire to get someone else’s name removed) in the villages under SIR. Impact of PDA on society and minorities

According to Akhilesh Yadav, this alleged conspiracy is having the biggest impact on the PDA society, in which the minority community is especially being targeted. He claimed that names of these sections are being removed from the voter list on a large scale.

The Samajwadi Party chief has appealed to all the news channels and newspapers to investigate this entire matter and expose the mega-scam. Along with this, he demanded local YouTubers and local news personnel to come forward in the interest of democracy.

Akhilesh Yadav assured that Samajwadi Party will bring the journalists and content creators who honestly highlight this issue in front of the country and the state. He said that taking true journalism to the real audience and readers is very important to protect democracy.
