I refused at first, because I was about to go, but they asked me to work on it during the trip.

Amal said- ‘Arijit Singh had to sing this song. Me and my friends were waiting to meet him in the studio. He came to the bus and recorded the song in 20 minutes and Arijit Singh received the Filmfare Award for the same 20 minutes. The film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ was directed by Shashank Khaitan.
