Mumbai Indians have prepared a strong squad for WPL 2026. Two-time champion MI had retained 5 players before the auction. In the auction, Mumbai spent Rs 3 crore on New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr. With the return of Shabnim Ismail to Sanskriti Gupta and Sajna Sajeevan, Mumbai’s squad looks as strong as before. Our strategy was to buy as many players as possible from the winning team of 2025. I am very excited with the return of Amelia Kerr and the arrival of our 4 players: Shabnim, Saika, Sajna and Sanskriti.
