Instead of going on the right path, the talks between America and Iran are getting more complicated. Just hours after Iran sent a new proposal for talks, US President Donald Trump did not give a direct answer to the question asked about the attack. When reporters in Washington asked Trump whether America would attack Iran again, he refused to give a direct answer. He said, ‘Why would I tell you this?’ And ended the matter there.

Earlier, Trump had clearly said that he is not satisfied with Iran’s proposal for new talks. He said that there are differences within the leadership of Iran, due to which the talks are not progressing. He told that talks are going on, but they are not consistent. Sometimes the matter moves forward and sometimes new people come and change the matter.

What are the further options?

Trump said that America has only two paths. Either action should be taken with full force or efforts should be made to compromise. However, he also said that he would not like to adopt the first path, that is, he would like to avoid direct major action. Trump also said that Iran is making such demands with which he cannot agree. However, he did not tell what those demands were.

Tension increased in the Middle East

Meanwhile, Iran has maintained its hold on the Strait of Hormuz. This route is very important for the world’s oil and gas supply. On the other hand, America has imposed a ban on Iranian ports, due to which the situation has become more tense. Thousands of people have lost their lives so far in this war that started on February 28. According to officials, more than 3,375 people have died in Iran and more than 2,600 in Lebanon. Apart from this, 24 people have died in Israel and more than 20 in Gulf countries. 17 Israeli soldiers have also been killed in Lebanon and 13 American soldiers in the entire region.
