After the announcement of US President Donald Trump’s announcement to the H-1B visa fees to $ 1 lakh annually, there was a huge panic in the Indian community. Its effect was also seen at the airports, where many passengers got off the aircraft due to fear.

Afratifari at San Francisco Airport

Indian passengers had boarded a flight in Emirates at San Francisco International Airport. Then the news of increasing H-1B visa fees spread. After this, the passengers panicked and started demanding to get off the plane. In the viral video on social media, it can be seen that dozens of passengers were pleading with ground staff to go out of the aircraft. The chaos increased so much that the flight left for about three hours late.

Companies issued warning
After the news, big companies like Microsoft, Amazon and JP Morgan advised their employees. He said that those who are outside America should return immediately. At the same time, those who are already in America were warned to avoid international travel. Currently, the H-1B visa fee ranges between $ 2,000 to 5,000. But if the new policy is implemented, this fee will be 1 million dollars annually. This decision will have the most impact on Indian IT professionals, as more than 70% of the H-1B visa holders are Indians.

H-1B visa is valid for three years
The H-1B visa is given for three years and it can be extended by three more years, but it can be very difficult for Indians to work and stay in the US when the new fees are implemented.

Trump signed government order
Trump on Friday signed a government order under an important development, which would affect Indian professionals working on H-1B visas in the US. Under this order, immigrants working in ‘Special Business’ will not be allowed to enter the US for not paying US $ 100,000 with H-1B applications. This order will be effective from 21 September 2025 at 12:01 pm.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted the Modi government at the Center on Saturday (September 20, 2025) over Donald Trump’s visa bomb. Asaduddin Owaisi flashed the central government and questioned the government’s foreign policy after issuing an executive order on the H-1B visa by US President Donald Trump.

In the Lok Sabha from Hyderabad, MP and AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi shared a post on the social media platform X on Saturday (September 20, 2025). In the post, Owaisi targeted the government and said, ‘My complaint is not to Trump, he did what he wanted. My quarrel is with this government. After all, what did you get from Houda Modi and Namaste Trump? What was achieved by all the diaspora you gathered in Madison Square Garden?

He said, ‘Happy birthday is not the successes of foreign policy. The purpose of eliminating the H-1B visa was to target Indians. The US putting its relations with India in danger is evidence that it does not care about our strategic values.

America does not consider us allies, this government failure- Owaisi

Asaduddin Owaisi said, ‘We are a strategic partner of America and if they do not see us as an ally, it is the failure of this government. We should see it with other works done by the US recently with India. Heavy tariffs, Pakistan-US trade agreement, Pakistan-Saudi Agreement (which could not be possible without America’s consent) and overall India’s weak state in the world. We are in a hostile neighborhood and are constantly being isolated on the global stage.

2014-2024 Lost decade- Owaisi

He said, ‘India has entered into dollars agreements with more than 18 countries including Qatar and many ASEAN countries. Trade payments with these countries are being done in rupees. We should expand it in business with all major trading partners. We should not bow down even an inch in front of Trump’s blackmail. But the government should self -consciousness why India is facing so many difficulties in the matter of foreign policy and national security? Is this because you have limited these issues to gimmick? After all, not Modi, but common Indians are upset. You have sacrificed our long term benefits for domestic show. 2014-2024 has been a lost decade.

The administration of US President Donald Trump has increased the annual fee to US $...

The administration of US President Donald Trump has increased the annual fee to US $ 1 lakh by imposing a huge economic burden on H-1B visa holders and employers. The move is going to have a direct impact on Indian IT companies, professionals and global technical giants. Experts believe that companies will now reduce new applications and the trend of outsourcing may increase. Also, this change can also bring new opportunities for Indian cities.

What did the former CFO of Infosys say?
Mohandas Pai, former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Infosys, dismissed the notion that companies use H-1B visas to send cheap workers to the US. He said that the average salary paid by the top 20 H-1B employers to employees is already more than US $ 1 lakh. Pai described President Trump’s statements as ‘absurd rhetoric’.

India can get benefit
Former NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said that this increase in H-1B visa fee will harm America’s innovation ecosystem. But he also added that this will now move towards the laboratory, patent and startup of the next wave towards India, especially towards cities like Bengaluru and Hyderabad. According to him, the closure of America’s doors for global talent will give new pace to the technical cities of India and India can become the center of innovation.

Impact on Indian IT companies and global giants
Sajai Singh, partner of JSA Advocates and Solicitors, said that this decision of America will prove to be expensive for those Indian IT companies and professionals who are very dependent on the H-1B visa. He warned that this would affect the business model and earnings. An IT industry expert said that Indian technical companies get around 8,000 to 12,000 new H-1B approval every year. This effect will not be limited to Indian companies only, but will also have on multinational companies like Amazon, Google and Microsoft.

NASSCOM expressed concern
Industry body NASSCOM issued a statement on Saturday, saying that increasing the H-1B visa application fee to $ 1 lakh will adversely affect Indian technology service companies. According to NASSCOM, this may disrupt the commercial continuity of projects running abroad. NASSCOM also expressed concern that the time limit of September 21 is extremely short and this has increased uncertainty among professionals and students around the world.

NASSCOM further said that Indian and India-centric companies are already emphasizing local appointments in the US and reducing their dependence on H-1B. He assured that these companies comply with all H-1B procedures in the US, give prevalent salary, contribute to the local economy and also share innovation with education and startups.

After the huge tax tariff levied by the US on India, now US President Donald Trump has changed his stand. Trump has now talked about his friendship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing his relations with India as strong.

On Wednesday (September 17, 2025), a day after congratulating PM Modi on his birthday, Trump told reporters with British Prime Minister Kir Stmper, ‘I am very close to India, I am very close to the Prime Minister of India. I recently talked to him and wished him a happy birthday. We have very good relations.

Criticism of European countries buying oil from Russia

Trump’s comment came at a time when he criticized European countries buying oil from Russia and said that such steps weaken efforts to isolate Moscow amidst the current conflicts. Despite expressing his displeasure over Russian oil trade with India, Trump highlighted his close ties with Modi and suggested that reducing global oil prices would be forced to compromise Russia.

Trump said, ‘I came to know that European countries were buying oil from Russia, but I banned them. China is currently giving a huge tariff to America, but I am ready to do other things, but when I am fighting for the people I am buying oil from Russia. If oil prices are low then Russia will compromise very easily.

Donald Trump eager to meet Prime Minister Modi

President Trump made this statement during a meeting with British Prime Minister Kir Starmer. Trump said that he is eager to talk to his very good friend Prime Minister Modi in the coming weeks and he is confident that both countries will reach a successful agreement. Meanwhile, the future of trade talks between India and the US remains uncertain.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to him after US President Donald Trump made positive comments...

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to him after US President Donald Trump made positive comments on India-US relations. On this, Javed Ashraf, former Ambassador of India in France and Monaco, said that I think Prime Minister Modi has responded to President Trump’s talk very restrained, but positively. He said that the Prime Minister’s response shows the fact that there is no dispute on our behalf and now it is on America how he resolves it.

India-Us Reason being stated to be imported from Russian for tussle in relations- Ashraf

Former Ambassador of India Javed Ashraf said, ‘I think it is a very welcome step, because recent references like the end of India-Pakistan struggle or taking credit for it have been missing and now the entire focus is mainly focused on importing India’s crude oil from Russia, which has been described as the root cause of differences. So I think that today’s statement has gradually softened. We have seen something positive, but we still have to be optimistic expressing precautions because this is just the first step.

He said, ‘It has two things to pay special attention, first, President Trump is often accustomed to changing his thoughts and he too does this through social media. So we have to keep it in mind. This is a step to move forward. Second, we also have to obey that the tariff is still in force and we have to take this issue seriously, because the real test will be when we face this difficulty.

Prime Minister Modi gave a restrained reply on Trump’s remarks- Javed Ashraf

Ashraf said, ‘If we talk about the Indian side, then we have always made comments based on facts in this difficult period. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also responded to President Trump’s words in a really restrained and positive manner. The Prime Minister’s response shows the fact that there is no dispute from our side and now it is on America how it resolves it.

India always ready for talks- Ashraf

He said, ‘I think that now in America too, it is understanding that India will never compromise on its basic interests and will not accept any demand of America, which affects our national interest. When this understanding is completely sitting, then a more serious attitude will be revealed for us. As we have said earlier, we are always ready to talk. We have also given an ambitious proposal related to business to America. So now it is completely on America how it removes its internal differences with India.

Also read Trump on PM Modi: ‘America cannot ignore India’, Trump told PM Modi, friend, what did the expert say?

A US MP has made a big statement about Donald Trump amid the ongoing tense...

A US MP has made a big statement about Donald Trump amid the ongoing tense situation after the US imposed 50 percent tariffs on India. US Congress MP Michael Bomgarter said that US President Donald Trump respects India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi a lot. He stressed that even though there were some hurdles on the way, India and America will soon find a solution to get out of this situation and strengthen their relationships again.

Trump gives importance to his relationship with PM Modi- Bamgarter

US MP Bomgarter said, “We know that US President Donald Trump is a dealener and he respects India a lot. He traveled to India a few years ago, in which he enjoyed a lot. He also gives great importance to his relations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India. I hope that the matter between India and America will soon be resolved. However, some interruption may be completely successful, but the end will be successful in the middle.”

America is expecting more than India- Bomgarter

He said that the high tariff imposed on India should be understood in such a way that sometimes even more has to be expected from friends. Talking to NDTV, he said, “I believe that sometimes you have to ask for more than your friends and it should be seen as a sign of respect for India that America is expecting more than India.”

You should see what President Trump wants- Bomgarter

He said, “I can understand that it can be disappointed by looking at India’s perspective, but it should also be seen what America wants to achieve from it and what President Trump wants to get from it. I have talked to many leaders of India and I have told him that the foundation between India and America is very strong.”

America’s well-known economist Jeffrey Sachs has described the 50 percent tariff on India by US...

America’s well-known economist Jeffrey Sachs has described the 50 percent tariff on India by US President Donald Trump as a stupid step. Jeffri said that this move of this US President has no purpose.

Talking to news agency ANI, Jeffrey Sachs described Trump as confusing and said that the US has used its dominant force for so long that they think that they can run their command on every part of the world. He said, “This tariff has no meaning. It is not true and it is failing. Putting additional tariffs on India was a stupid step in every way. Which has no purpose.”

He said, “Trump does not like the countries involved in the BRICS group at all, because all these countries stand in front of America and say that Washington does not run the world.”

India should never trust America- Jeffri

The American economist said, “Everything related to the tariff is completely wrong. It is also dangerous for the American economy. It violates international law. It is also harmful to our political system. Trump’s policies in America are fully cursed to fail.”

According to Jeffrey Sachs, India should never trust America and also should not believe that New Delhi can be included in the Global Value Chain by replacing China. He described China, Russia and Brazil as the real partner of India. He had already warned that India will not get any security benefits from standing with America.

This statement of the American economist came to light when US President Donald Trump has imposed a 50 percent tariff on India, the reason behind which was told to buy India’s Russia oil and gas.

American leaders do not care about India- Jeffri

Sachs said, “America politicians do not care about India. Understand this. India is not going to get any long-term security from standing against China in the quad with America. India is a superpower, which has its own independent identity in the world and the trump that is doing tariffs is absolutely unconstitutional.”

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has given a befitting reply to the threat of nuclear attack...

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has given a befitting reply to the threat of nuclear attack by Pakistani military chief Asim Munir on Monday (August 11, 2025). Tharoor said that we are not going to bow down to any such nuclear threat. The ministry has also given a befitting reply.

After attending a dinner organized by Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge for the leaders of India alliance, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor told reporters, “This person (Asim Munir) has a habit of saying such things in front of the Pakistani migrant community, which is obviously asks to strengthen his situation. But India knows how much I am in the air and the ground, so I am not very upset.”

Threatened to India from American land, this concerned topic- Tharoor

At the same time, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said after a meeting of Permanent Parliamentary Committee of Foreign Affairs on Monday (August 11), “During an event in the US, the recent nuclear threats given to India by Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir were discussed in the Standing Committee of Foreign Affairs. The committee has expressed concern over the misuse of land of a friend country for such comments.

Shashi Tharoor, chairman of the Standing Committee of Foreign Affairs, said, “The committee has expressed concern that the land of a friend country (America) was misused to say something against us in this way. Also, the habit of nuclear threats has been given clearly in the statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs. We also repeat the same statement. We will also do not have any party threatening and any number of threats on India, we also repeat the same statement. There is no disagreement. “

What did Pakistani military chief say,

Pakistan’s military head Fled (Field) Marshal Asim Munir held a meeting with the Pakistani migrant community in Florida, USA. In the meeting, Munir said that if there is a threat to the existence of Pakistan in the event of any struggle with India in future, Pakistan can target India and half the world by using its nuclear weapons.

India has put the plan to purchase American weapons and aircraft in cold storage. After...

India has put the plan to purchase American weapons and aircraft in cold storage. After the huge tariff imposed on India by US President Donald Trump on India, it is being called a big step. In a report by Reuters, this claim has been made by three government officials.

Ministry of Defense rejected foreign media reports

Sources in India’s Ministry of Defense have completely rejected the news of foreign media. According to sources in the Ministry of Defense, no final decision has been taken to buy the striker and no official proposal has been received from the US yet for the purchase of the Javelin missile. Apart from this, no date has been revealed about Rajnath Singh’s American visit yet. In such a situation, the final decision is yet to be taken.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s US visit canceled

These weapons were to be dealt with on the US tour of India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in the coming weeks. These included the purchase of General Dynamics striker Combat Vehicle, Anti-Tank missile Javelin and 6 Boeing P8i reconnaissance aircraft for the Indian Navy. According to the report, this deal for the purchase of weapons was worth $ 3.6 billion, which is currently questioned. In this report, the officials also claimed that Rajnath Singh’s visit to America has also been canceled.

Trump doubled by increasing additional 25 percent tariff on India

On Wednesday (August 6, 2025), US President Donald Trump announced to double the tariff of 25 percent on India to 50 percent due to importing Russian oil. Trump’s announcement of 50 percent additional tariff on India is one of the highest tariff rates applied to any business partner of America.

However, Donald Trump has a record that he withdraws his declared tariff soon. But the authorities have told the Reuters that once the direction and trade policies of bilateral relations become completely clear, the defense agreement can start again. However, there has been no progress at the moment.

Inappropriate targets are being targeted- India
