Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has given a big statement amid the ongoing tension over tariffs between the US and India. Netanyahu said that he would give Prime Minister Narendra Modi some advice to deal with US President Donald Trump. However, he also clarified that he would give advice to PM Modi in private because both PM Modi and Trump are close friends of him.

Speaking to the media, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump are very close friends. However, during this time he also said that he would like to travel to India as soon as possible.

Israeli PM Netanyahu spoke on the relationship between India and America

PM Netanyahu has described the foundation of relations between India and America as very strong and requested both countries to resolve the ongoing dispute over tariffs as soon as possible. He said, “The foundation of the relations between the two countries is very strong. A shared solution should be found for India and America and it will be in their interest to settle this tariff dispute soon and any such solution will be good for Israel, because both these countries are our friends.”

Trump imposed an additional 50 percent tariff on India

It is noteworthy that last week, US President Donald Trump announced an additional 25 percent tariff on goods exported from India, which he imposed as a punishment for importing crude oil from Russia. However, after continuing imports from Russia, Trump has announced to impose 50 percent tariffs on India by doubling the tariff of 25 percent. Tariff Trump’s recently made tariffs imposed on India except Brazil are the highest compared to other countries.

Prime Minister Modi’s reply on Trump’s tariff

However, India condemned the steps taken by the US and Trump, calling it wrong, unjust and impractical. This move of America can affect many areas like India’s textile and sea exports. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also given a strict message on this. He said, “India will never compromise the interests of its farmers and fishermen. We know that we will have to pay the price for this, but we are fully ready to do so for the farmers of the country.”

Amid arbitrary tariffs imposed on India, there is news of Pakistani Army Chief Feld (Field) Marshal Asim Munir to reach America once again. Commander General Michael Kurila of the US Central Command (Central Command) is reported to have reached Florida to participate in the fur.
