After the horrific car blast in Delhi on Monday (November 10), security agencies have issued an alert in the capital. In view of this, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has issued an order to close the historic Red Fort to the general public for the next three days.

On Monday, 9 people were killed and more than 20 were injured in the blast near Red Fort metro station, after which this decision has been taken due to security reasons. ASI officials said that during this period, the security arrangements in and around the Red Fort will be completely reviewed. Police, NSG and forensic teams are working continuously to stop any suspicious activity and investigate the evidence.

Home Minister Amit Shah met the injured

Last night, Home Minister Amit Shah and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also reached RML Hospital, where they met the injured. After this, Amit Shah reached the spot and took stock of the situation.

Explosive material was kept in the car

Since the incident, teams of Delhi Police, NSG and NIA are investigating on the spot. It is being told that the explosive material was kept in a car, which is being linked to a person named Tariq of Pulwama.

Delhi Police registered a case under UAPA

Delhi Police has registered a case under UAPA in this matter and the entire area has been sealed. Security agencies are on high alert in Delhi as well as in NCR, Mumbai and UP.

ASI has appealed to the people not to go around the Red Fort complex unnecessarily for the next three days. The monument will be reopened only after the security check is completed.

The accident happened around 6:30 to 7 o’clock

Regarding this horrific car explosion, an eyewitness told ABP News that this accident happened between 6:30 and 7 pm. In the beginning we could not understand what caused such a huge explosion. When the explosion occurred, all the vehicles on the road were stopped due to red light and a large number of people were present in the area, but when the explosion occurred, there was chaos all around. People started running here and there to save their lives. The blast was so powerful that even the glass panes of the nearby temples were broken.

Blast took place in I-20 car

Incident near gate number one of metro station

Actually this blast took place near Gate No. 1 of Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi. Initially information came that there had been an explosion in a parked car. However, later officials said that this car was not parked and was going somewhere. After receiving the information, fire engines, ambulances and senior police officers reached the spot. After the explosion, three-four vehicles caught fire and were damaged.

Eight deaths reported so far

Till the time of writing the news, eight people had been confirmed dead in this incident. It is believed that the number may also increase. Amidst the Bihar Assembly elections, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav held a press conference on Monday (November 10) and made a scathing attack on the Election Commission and the Central Government.
