Railway Minister gave information about new routes of new Amrit Bharat Express trains.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav shared information about the new 9 routes of the new Amrit Bharat Express trains through a post on social media platform X on Tuesday (January 13, 2026) on the occasion of Lohri. He wrote in the caption of the post, ‘Soon 9 new Amrit Bharat Express trains will be flagged off!’

On which routes will the new Amrit Bharat Express trains run??

• According to the Railway Ministry, the first Amrit Bharat Express train will run from Guwahati (Kamakhya) to Rohtak to expand connectivity between Assam and Haryana.
• At the same time, the second Amrit Bharat Express train will run from Dibrugarh in Assam to Lucknow (Gomti Nagar), the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
• While the third train will expand connectivity between West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. Indian Railways will send Amrit Bharat train from Jalpaiguri in West Bengal to Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu.
• The fourth Amrit Bharat Express train will also leave from West Bengal for Tamil Nadu, which will run from New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal to Nagercoil in Tamil Nadu.
• The fifth Amrit Bharat Express train will operate from Alipurduar in West Bengal to SMVT Bengaluru in Karnataka.
• At the same time, the sixth Amrit Bharat Express train will run from Alipurduar in West Bengal to Panvel in Mumbai.
• According to Indian Railways, the seventh Amrit Bharat Express train will run from Santragachhi in West Bengal to Tambaram in Tamil Nadu.
• The eighth Amrit Bharat Express train will leave from West Bengal for New Delhi. According to Indian Railways, it will leave from Howrah in Kolkata for Anand Vihar railway station in Delhi-NCR.
• Whereas the ninth Amrit Bharat Express train will run from Sealdah in West Bengal’s capital Kolkata to Banaras Railway Station in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh.

Bihar amrit bharat train: Indian Railways is the fourth largest rail network in the world and is continuously expanding. This year elections are going to be held in Bihar and before that the Railways has announced to give a new gift to the state. Seven new trains will start from Patna Junction. Which also includes three Amrit Bharat Express.

Amrit Bharat Express trains are quite popular among middle class passengers. Till now a total of 12 Amrit Bharat Express trains were running. Now after the introduction of three new trains, their number will increase to 15. Let us tell you for which three states this new Amrit Bharat trains from Bihar will be run.

Amrit Bharat Express will run for these three states from Bihar

Three new Amrit Bharat Express trains from Bihar to Rajasthan, Bihar to Hyderabad and Bihar to Delhi have been started. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave him the green signal. These trains will get direct connectivity for Darbhanga to Ajmer (Rajasthan), Muzaffarpur to Hyderabad (Telangana) and Chhapra to Delhi (Anand Vihar Terminal).

With this step, passengers of Bihar will be able to travel long distances. Along with this, time will also be saved in the journey. Amrit Bharat Express is already a popular train of mango and middle class passengers. Now the journey from Bihar to Rajasthan, Telangana and Delhi will be easier and comfortable with the beginning of these three new trains.

Train number 15293/15294 – Muzaffarpur -Charlapalli -Muzaffarpur Amrit Bharat Express will run once a week. The train will go through Hajipur, Pataliputra, Ara, Baxsar, DDU, Prayagraj Chivki, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nagpur and Qazipet. It has facilities like comfortable seating, clean toilets and more birth space. The train will cover the distance of Muzaffarpur -Charlapalli in about 37 hours 10 minutes. Its fare has been kept budget-friendly, although official figures have not come.

Train number 19623/19624 – Madar -Darbhanga -Madar Amrit Bharat Express will run once a week and will make a long distance journey from Bihar to Rajasthan comfortable and smooth. The train will go via the path via Kamtaul, Sitamarhi, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Gorakhpur, Gomtinagar, Kanpur, Tundla and Jaipur. It has facilities like comfortable seating, clean toilets and adequate berth space. The train will cover the distance of Madar -Darbhanga in about 27 hours 30 minutes. Its fare has also been kept budget-friendly.

Train number 15133/15134 – Chhapra -Anand Vihar -Chhapra Amrit Bharat Express will run two days a week and will make the journey from Bihar to Delhi comfortable and smooth. The train will go through the path via Siwan, Thave, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Aishbagh (Lucknow) and Kanpur. It has facilities like modern seating, clean toilets, adequate berths and air-conditioning. The distance of the train Chhapra -Anand Vihar will be completed in about 24 hours 10 minutes.
