Farmers at india Pakistan border: After the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, farming across the border has become a matter of concern for the farmers of border villages. The farmers around Mahawa village and its surroundings have complained that although BSF officials allow them to cross the Taro river from 8 am to 5 pm for farming, the gates are really opened around 10 am, due to which they have to face great difficulties.

He said that BSF officials had given time from eight in the morning to five in the evening, but the gates were opened around 10 am. Due to which we are facing a lot of difficulties. Many farmers of the village of idiom say that there are three doors in our village. Out of which only one gate has been opened. The other two are closed.

Farmers of village Mahawa said that about 147 acres of land in the village is located across the Tarbandi. He said that the paddy season is approaching and during this time the preparations for agriculture depend on the adequate availability of laborers and electricity. Apart from being expensive wages, the speed of farming is affected until the gates are opened on time.

In this regard, a protest was organized by the farmers of the border villages in Amarkot village today. He demanded the BSF officials that they should be given full time from 8 am to 5 pm to cross the border, so that they can complete their agricultural work on time.
