Recently, in a podcast by Nayandeep Rakshit, Soha told that her mother Sharmila prefers to live in Delhi and is not ready to go back to Mumbai despite repeated requests. Soha also said that her mother is a little confused about working in films after her comeback. There is no certainty whether she will continue working in films or not. Soha told that on one hand she says that she will not work anymore, and the next moment she finds a script that will excite her.

Sharmila rode a bike with a stranger
Soha recalled a funny incident of her mother Sharmila, saying, “Mother was going to a book launch event, but there was a lot of traffic on the way. So she got down from the car and asked a woman going on a scooter to drop me near the event. Then on the way, she got down from that scooter and stopped someone else’s bike, so that she could reach quickly. I was thinking ‘Amma, you are 80 years old and this is on the streets of Delhi. Soha further told that the person had left her mother midway. After this she walked the rest of the way for the book launch. Soha told that this story was shared with her by Sharmila herself.
