Jagan mohan reddy fir: A very tragic incident has come to light in Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh, where 55 -year -old supporter of YSR Congress Party died. The accident happened when the supporters were trying to shower flowers on the convoy of former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The deceased has been identified as Chili Singayya. He was trying to shower flowers on Jagan Mohan Reddy’s convoy, but slipped and fell in front of the vehicle. He was seriously injured after hitting the former CM’s Fortuner car and died on the way to the hospital.

Sharmila Reddy alleged- Administration’s negligence
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President YS Sharmila Reddy has strongly condemned the incident and raised serious questions on the state administration and police. He asked that when the government is banned on political rallies, then how was the rally of thousands of people allowed? He also alleged that despite the police being aware of this rally, no security or prevention measures were taken. Sharmila attacked the government, saying that she has got the right to kill people? He also said that the movements of the Congress are forcibly stopped, while the rules for the ruling party are relaxed.

Six people were made accused
Guntur District Police conducted a thorough investigation into the incident and took this incident seriously on the date of 18 June 2025. According to the police, three vehicles were involved in the convoy going from Tadepalli towards Sattanapalli. This accident happened on the Atukuru bypass. On the complaint of the victim’s wife Chili Lurdhu Mary, the police first registered a case under Section 106 (1) BNS. Later, based on the CCTV footage of the scene, drone video and eyewitnesses, it became clear that Singayya Jagan had come under the wheels of Jagan Mohan Reddy. After this, six people have been accused by adding section 105 and 49 BNS, including driver Ramna Reddy, former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, his PA Nageshwar Reddy, former MP YV Subbaarddy, former MLA Perni Nani and former minister Vidadla Rajini.

Internation Resort Politics: Mayor G. in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. A no -confidence motion has been brought against Hari Venkat Kumari, on which voting is to be held on April 19. With this, ‘International Resort Politics’ has started in the state. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) have sent their councilors to other places so that they do not come in contact with the opposing party.

According to a report by The Indian Express, TDP has sent its councilors to Malaysia, while YSRCP has sent its councilors to Sri Lanka. The aim of this step is to maintain councilors in their court and to avoid any kind of political upset during voting of no confidence motion. Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) currently occupies the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). Mayor G. Hari Venkat Kumari and both Deputy Mayor J.K. Sridhar and K.K. Satish is also from this party, but YSRCP is getting weaker since last year is out of power. Many of its leaders are now joining the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

Know which party has how many councilors

On March 22, the TDP motion of no confidence against Mayor Kumari. Voting will be held on this April 19. There is no upside down before voting, so both parties have sent their councilors to Malaysia and Sri Lanka, so that they cannot come in contact with another party. GVMC has a total of 98 councilors. Of these, YSRCP has 59 councilors. TDP has 29 councilors and 3 councilors of its associate Janasena Party (JSP) are also with him. BJP, CPI and CPI (M) have 1-1 seats.

TDP’s big claim

In June last year, the TDP -led NDA coalition came to power in the state. After this, about 25 YSRCP councilors have joined TDP. Now TDP claims that they have the support of 65 to 70 councilors, while they need 74 votes to pass a no -confidence motion. TDP leader P. Srinivas Rao filed a no -confidence motion with the support of 69 councilors. JSP MLA Vamsi Krishna says that he has the support of about 70 councilors and this number may increase further before voting.

The party will bear the expenses of all the councilors

No councilors came in contact with another party, so TDP has sent its councilors to Malaysia. TDP President Palla Srinivas Rao said that about 26 councilors are in Kuala Lumpur. The party has assured to spend all his expenses. On the other hand, YSRCP also first placed its councilors in a resort near Bengaluru and then sent them to Sri Lanka. Deputy Mayor Jiyani Sridhar told that he is currently in Kochi and 30 councilors are at different places in Sri Lanka. If TDP wins this proposal, then Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation will be occupied. In the 2024 elections, TDP won all 7 assembly seats in the city and also won a huge victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
