If you are preparing for a government job in Uttar Pradesh and have passed 12th, then there can be a big opportunity for you in the coming time. Preparations are being made to fill a large number of vacant posts to strengthen the Anganwadi system in the state. Under this, the recruitment process for the posts of Anganwadi workers and assistants is being expedited. Districts have been instructed to update the information about vacant posts and start the further process.

How many posts can be recruited?

According to the information, preparations are being made to fill 7,068 posts of Anganwadi and 21,540 posts of assistants. That is, there is a possibility of recruitment on more than 28 thousand posts in total. This recruitment can be done on contract basis and the application process will run according to different districts.

Who can apply?

Mainly female candidates will get the opportunity to apply for this recruitment. 12th pass candidates can be eligible to apply, however the final qualification, age limit and other rules will be decided in the official notification to be released district wise.

Department increased preparations regarding recruitment process

To take the recruitment process forward, a new record of vacant posts has been sought from the concerned authorities. Along with this, preparations are also being made to include the vacant posts of recently retired Anganwadi workers and assistants in the recruitment.

Pending recruitment in some districts will also gain momentum

The earlier recruitment process could not be completed in some districts of the state. Now the department is working towards taking forward those pending cases and starting new appointments soon so that maximum posts can be filled. Candidates are advised to read the official notice of their district after the start of application. Application date, documents, selection process and other conditions may differ according to the district. Apply only on the basis of correct information.

Recruitment for Nursing Officer posts

Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board has started the application process for recruitment to 196 Nursing Officer posts in the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online till 2 July 2026 at 5 pm. The probable written examination for recruitment will be conducted in November-December 2026. Candidates applying must have valid registration with Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwifery Council, Dehradun along with recognized qualification of GNM, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.

The age of the candidate should be between 21 to 42 years. Selected candidates will get salary ranging from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 per month in Pay Level-7 under the 7th Pay Commission and the benefit of Contributory Pension Scheme. The application process has started from June 12, while the facility to amend the application will be available from July 4 to 7, 2026.
