While talking to Indian Express Hindi, Anil Kapoor said, ‘I have always been a student. I wanted to grow as an actor. That’s why I felt that there is always someone who knows more about acting than me.

Anil had approached theater director Firoz Abbas for this. Anil said- I had thought of doing a workshop with him for the film Nayak. So I used to go to his office in Mahim and did many workshops and rehearsals. But we haven’t played anything together yet. This is on my bucket list. One day we will definitely do something, who will be bigger than a hero.

Anil Kapoor got the offer of politics

His performance in the film Nayak was very brilliant. After this he was also approached by political parties. Without naming the party, Anil Kapoor said, ‘Some discussions took place. But I had refused in the beginning itself. He was also very intelligent. So whoever offers you, she does not do it directly. Those offers come from someone. Somewhere you get the idea that he is not ready to do this work.

Anil said, ‘I will have to do it with great honesty and true heart. But I don’t have enough strength to give it full commitment. I give 100 percent in whatever I do. When I was in America after the release of Slumdog Millionaire, the UN asked me several times to become a brand ambassador. When you are in trend, every organization in the world approaches you.

Anil Kapoor has made an emotional post on Instagram on the completion of 45 years of the film ‘Kahan Kahan Se Gujar Gaya’. He described it as the turning point and milestone of his career. Posting a video collage related to the film on Instagram, Anil wrote, “45 years ago, a film that was having difficulty finding a buyer was finally released in just one show, and that one show became the turning point of my life.”

He further said, the film was released in 1986. This was an important beginning for me. Director M.S. Working with Sathyu, being framed by Ishaan Arya’s camera and sharing the screen with Pankaj Kapur was even more special for me. Both of us were at the beginning of our careers at that time.

Anil is thankful for this experience

Anil wrote, “‘Kahaan Kahaan Se Gusar Gaya’ gave me an experience for which I am still grateful. What started with uncertainty, became a milestone that I will always cherish. 45 years later, I am very thankful for those struggles, the lessons and the film that paved my path.”
