Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has spoken openly for the first time on the Ankita Bhandari murder case of Uttarakhand. CM Dhami said that as soon as I got information about this, we took action and arrested the three accused. A SIT was formed under a woman IPS and under her leadership, investigation was done on all aspects and all the persons were talked to.
CM Dhami said that P Renuka Devi was leading him and is currently working in CBI. SIT worked on all aspects and people said that something more should be added to it. He said that whoever has to give information should give it to the SIT or to the court. Strong advocacy was done and the accused were sentenced to life imprisonment.

Our track record has been that whoever is guilty will not be spared – CM Dhami

CM Dhami said that recently an audio has surfaced and investigation is being done for that also. It is our effort to bring out some truth by talking to those who have spoken in the audio. Our track record assures you that whoever is guilty will not go free. In the audio, names are being taken that they will make one person the president and maybe tomorrow they will take someone else’s name. In the name of audio, instead of using PC in Dehradun, they use PC in Delhi.

A storm is being created in the name of an audio, but let the truth come out, no one will be left guilty, we are ready for every investigation. In one audio they are saying that a murder has taken place and in the other they are saying that he has committed suicide, so what can be considered as truth. If suicide is considered true then it will not turn into a conspiracy if it goes to court.

Will talk to Ankita’s parents- CM Dhami

On the question of a journalist, CM Dhami said, what will you do if someone puts your name? I will tell you last on CBI investigation, the atmosphere inside the state is being spoiled. Will talk to Ankita’s parents on the issue and will provide whatever help they want.

Along with this, CM Dhami said that those who said these things in the audio are running away, if the phone is switched off then why are they running away. The administration has gone to Suresh Rathore to present whatever information is available to him but he is not talking. Whoever is guilty, I want to tell you that he will not be spared.

The case of Ankita Bhandari murder case has once again heated up in Uttarakhand. Due to this, the problems of former MLA Suresh Rathore and Urmila Sanawar have increased in the audio-video case viral on social media. FIRs have been lodged against both of them in different police stations in Dehradun and Haridwar districts.

It is alleged that both of them deliberately broadcast such audio-videos on social media, the purpose of which was to damage the image of BJP leader Dushyant Kumar Gautam.

Accusation of tarnishing the image of BJP leader

This complaint has been given in Bahadarabad police station of Haridwar by Dr. Dharmendra Kumar, an officer associated with Gautam Shiromani Guru Ravidas Shiv Mahapeeth and Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Akhara Bharat. It was told in the complaint that Dushyant Kumar is the international president of Gautam Mahapeeth and the national president of the Akhara. In this audio-video, an attempt has been made to tarnish Ankita Bhandari’s social and political image by using the murder case as its basis.

It has also been said in the complaint that such misleading and objectionable publicity has not only hurt the reputation of a public representative but has also hurt the sentiments of the Ravidasi community. This is expected to create confusion and tension in the society.

Aarti Gaur filed a case in Dehradun

On the other hand, in Dehradun, former District Panchayat member Aarti Gaur has also filed a complaint against former MLAs Suresh Rathore and Urmila Sanawar at Nehru Colony police station. Aarti Gaur alleges that false facts were deliberately spread through audio-videos circulated on social media and an attempt was made to tarnish her image as part of a political conspiracy.

According to police officials, FIRs have been registered in both the cases under relevant sections and investigation has been started. The authenticity, source and intention of broadcasting the viral audio-video is also being investigated. Further action will be taken on the basis of investigation.
