If an officer couple wants to travel abroad together, the process becomes a little more complicated than usual. They not only have to obtain permission for leave, but also have to obtain ‘Foreign Travel Permission’ by giving complete details of their travel to the government.

Krishna Kumar Bishnoi, Sambhal Superintendent of Police and IPS officer of the year 2018 batch, is a resident of Barmer, Rajasthan. He completed his graduation from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and then obtained a master’s degree in international security from the Paris School of International Affairs, France, after which he worked for a year in the United Nations (UN), where he got an annual package of Rs 30 lakh. However, his mind remained focused on serving the country, so he left this job and returned to India to prepare for UPSC and became an IPS officer with 174th rank. In professional life, Bishnoi took strict action against criminals and maintained peace and order during his posting as SP City in Gorakhpur and SP in Sambhal district.

How did SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi and IPS Anshika Verma meet?

Anshika Verma and Krishna Kumar Bishnoi met in Gorakhpur, when Anshika was posted there as ASP and Bishnoi as SP. While working together, their friendship and conversations gradually turned into a relationship and with time this relationship became stronger. Both of them talked to their families and after getting the consent of the families, the decision of marriage was taken. This wedding program will continue for three days.
