24 -year -old Anshul Kamboj has been included in the Indian squad before the fourth Test against England in Manchester. He got a place in the team after Arshdeep Singh’s injury. Anshul Kamboj was born on 6 December 2000 in Karnal district of Haryana. He is a right arm medium fast bowler. He is a bowling all -rounder and can also bat well. Since 2021, he has been playing for Haryana in domestic cricket.

Made debut in Ranji Trophy in 2022

Anshul Kamboj made his debut in Ranji on February 2022, playing against Tripura for Haryana. He took 7 wickets in 7 matches in the 2022-23 Saeed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In the 2023-24 Vijay Hazare Trophy, he took 17 wickets in 10 matches. On the basis of these performances, he was bought by Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Anshul put a historic spell during the Ranji Trophy in November 2024. He took 10 wickets in an innings against Kerala. He became the third bowler in history to do so. In this match played in Rohtak, he took 10 wickets for 49 runs in 30.1 overs spell.
