Opportunity to lodge objection on answer key

After the release of the answer key, NTA will also open the objection window for the candidates. If a candidate feels that the answer to any question is wrong or there is a mistake in the answer option, then he can file an objection on the same within the stipulated time limit. All objections will be examined under subject experts. If any objection is found correct, necessary corrections will be made in the answer key. Only after this the final answer key and result will be prepared.

The last date to register an objection to the provisional answer of the PET 2025 organized by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has been fixed on 17 December 2025. The Commission has clarified that no objection will be accepted after this date. In such a situation, the candidates object to any question of answer, they will have to go to the official website of the Commission upsssc.gov.in as soon as possible and register an objection online.

Procedure and fees of objection

According to UPSSC, objections can be lodged only through online medium. At the same time, a fee of Rs 100 has been fixed for every objection, which has to be deposited online. Candidates can also register an objection to more than one question. For this, the candidate will have to pay 100 rupees on every question. To register objections, candidates will have to login on the website with information like registration number, roll number and date of birth. Apart from this, the candidate will have to upload the relevant document for objection. The Commission has also made it clear that the objections sent by post, email or any other means will not be valid.

19.42 lakh candidates participated in the exam

The written examination of UPSSSC PET 2025 was conducted in two innings on 6 and 7 September. About 19.42 lakh candidates participated in the examination. While more than 25.32 lakh candidates applied for this. A total of 100 questions were asked in the examination. According to the marking scheme, negative marking of one digit for each correct answer and 0.25 marks for each wrong answer has been set.

What is further process?

Experts of the subject panel will investigate the objections filed by the candidates. Based on this investigation, the final answer will be prepared. On the basis of this final answer, the result of PET 2025 will also be announced. The score of PET will remain valid for 3 years, so that eligible candidates will be able to apply for different wars of Group C for the next 3 years.
