Anurag Kashyap praised Ranveer Singh. He told that Ranveer himself had put a clip on his stomach for the death scene in the film Lootera.

Anurag said, ‘There are reports about Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar and how they and Arjun Rampal hurt each other. He has come so far. And the film is earning very well. But Ranveer Singh did his second film Lootera, where I was the producer. When he was shot in the climax and to get that feeling, Ranveer had put a clip on his stomach without telling anyone. He went a long way as an actor.

Anurag further said, ‘We had to take him to the hospital by helicopter. That film did not do well at the box office. Didn’t earn anything in front of Dhurandhar. But it was his conviction that he kept it hidden and did not tell his pain to anyone. No one knew until he was unable to walk on his own.
