Anvay Dravid performed brilliantly at the domestic level in age group cricket, after which he has been selected in India’s Under-19 team. Anvay is a wicketkeeper batsman, who under his captaincy took the Karnataka Under-19 team to the quarter-finals of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy. He had scored a total of 220 runs in 6 innings. In this, the biggest innings was played by Munho against Himachal Pradesh, Anvay led his team to victory by scoring 82 runs while chasing the target.

Anvay Dravid, younger son of Rahul Dravid, was born on 27 April 2009. Last April he celebrated his 17th birthday. He is a right handed batsman.

BCCI’s Junior Selection Committee led by Sharath Sreedharan on Thursday announced the Indian Under-19 team for the ODI and multi-day series for the tour of Sri Lanka. Talking about ODI, the first match will be played on 4th July. The second match will be held on 6th and the third on 9th July. All three matches will be played in Hambantota.
