Apple, one of the big technology and devices companies, has taken a big step to improve its App Store. In the last few days, the company has banned more than 1,35,000 apps at the app store. The developers of these apps failed to give trader information. With the increase in the popularity of apps in the last few years, the cases of fraud have increased through them.

Techcrunch Report According to, Apple has told on its website that apps related to traders without traders in the European Union (EU) have been removed from the app store. These apps were not giving information about their address, phone number and email to consumers. Under the new Rules of EU, it is necessary to give information about your ‘trader status’ for the app developers. Earlier, Apple had warned the app developers that if they did not provide information about trader status by 17 February, they would be banned from the app store. After this, the company has initiated this action.

Apple has stated that the trader’s contact information includes the address, phone number and the email address that the traders have to make available to the Apple to post on the product page of the app store. After verifying this, the company publishes this information on the trader’s app.

Recently, many VPN apps have been removed from the company’s App Store and Google’s Play Store in India. The central government had made rules related to collecting and storing the data of customers for VPN service providers two years ago. After these rules, many VPN providers closed their physical services in the country. However, they are providing service to their customers. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued an order to Google and Apple asking to remove several VPN apps from the Play Store and App Store. The VPN apps removed from the app stores of these companies include the app of the American company Cloudflare. Apart from this, apps like X-VPN and Privadovpn have also been removed.
