Central Bank of India has started the application process for recruitment to 4500 apprentice posts. Eligible and interested candidates from across the country can apply online through the official website of the bank.

This recruitment drive has brought a golden opportunity for those youth who want to make a strong start to their career along with gaining experience in the banking sector. The application process has started from 12th June 2026 and candidates can fill the online form till 22nd June 2026. The online examination for recruitment will be conducted in the first week of July 2026.

Recruitment will be done on 4500 posts

According to the notification issued by the Central Bank of India, under this recruitment drive, candidates will be selected for a total of 4500 apprentice posts. Selected candidates will be given practical training in banking operations, so that they can get better opportunities in banking and financial sector in future.

Who can apply?

Candidates applying for Apprentice posts must have Graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. Talking about age limit, the age of the candidate should be between 20 years to 28 years. The candidate should not be born before 31 May 1998 and after 31 May 2006. Age relaxation will also be provided to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

How will the selection be done?

In the first phase, online examination will be conducted, which will be conducted by BFSI SSC. A total of 100 questions will be asked in the exam and each question will be of one mark. The total duration of the examination has been fixed at 60 minutes. Candidates successful in online examination will be called for Local Language Test. It will be necessary to have knowledge of the local language of the state for which the candidate will apply.

The application fee for General, EWS and OBC (Male) candidates has been fixed at Rs 944. The fee for women candidates has been kept at Rs 708. SC, ST, Divyang and Transgender candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 236.

Yantra India Limited has recruited a total of 3,979 apprentice posts for the year 2026. Out of these, more than 2,800 posts have been kept for Ex-ITI Apprentices, while more than 1,100 posts are for Non-ITI Apprentices. Candidates selected on all these posts will be given training in ordnance factories and manufacturing units located in different states of the country.

age limit

For Yantra India Limited Apprentice Recruitment, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 15 years and maximum age is 24 years. Age relaxation will be given to reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC and disabled candidates as per government rules.

How much stipend will you get?

Candidates selected under Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be given stipend every month during the training period. Non-ITI Apprentice candidates will get a stipend of around Rs 8,000 to 8,500 per month, while Ex-ITI Apprentice candidates will be given a stipend of around Rs 9,000 to 9,600 per month. This amount has been decided as per the rules of the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Ability

For Non-ITI Apprentice posts, the candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate and 40 percent marks in Mathematics and Science. Whereas for Ex-ITI Apprentice posts, it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed ITI in the relevant trade and the ITI certificate should be recognized by NCVT or SCVT. This recruitment is for those youth who want to pursue a career in the government or private sector by taking training in the technical field.

How much will the application fee cost?

Application fee for this recruitment: General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay around Rs 200 while applying, whereas for SC, ST, women and disabled candidates, the application fee has been kept around Rs 100. Application fee will have to be paid through online mode only.

selection process

There will be no written examination in this recruitment and no interview will be conducted. Candidates will be selected from the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in 10th/ITI. Documents of the merit candidates will be scrutinized. Finally, a medical fitness test will be conducted.
