To apply for this recruitment, the candidate must have at least 50% marks in the 10th board examination. Along with this, he must have NCVT or SCVT recognized ITI certificate in the relevant trade. This recruitment is skill-based, hence it is considered necessary to have trade and practical knowledge of ITI. Those without ITI will not be able to apply.

The minimum age for application has been fixed at 15 years and maximum 24 years. Age will be calculated from the date of 24th December 2025. According to government rules, SC/ST candidates will get 5 years relaxation and OBC candidates will get 3 years relaxation. Disabled candidates will get the benefit of additional age relaxation.

There will be no written examination or interview on these posts. Selection will be done entirely from the merit list made on the basis of average of marks obtained in 10th and ITI. If the marks of two candidates are equal, then the one who is older will get priority. After this, document verification of all the selected candidates will be done.

The application fee for General and OBC category candidates has been fixed at Rs 100, whereas for SC, ST, PwBD and all women candidates, the application fee is absolutely free. After selection, the apprentice will be given a stipend during training, which is decided as per the rules of the Apprentice Act 1961.
