Water bottle price: Indian railway has brought relief news for passengers. After the deduction in GST rates, the Railway Board has announced a reduction in the prices of packaged drinking water rail Neer. According to the new notification issued by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation IRCTC, now the prices of one liter capacity rail Neer bottle have come down. Let us know whether the water of Bisleri, Kinle, Bailey and Aquafina will also be cheaper due to GST cut.

How much will you get railway neer

According to IRCTC, Rail Neer’s bottle will be available for Rs 14 instead of Rs 15. Similarly, the price of half a liter i.e. 500 ml bottle has also been reduced. Earlier this bottle was available for 10 rupees, while now its price has been reduced to 9 rupees. Railways say that this decision has been taken with the aim of providing safe drinking water to passengers at affordable rates. In such a situation, 1 rupee will now be saved on Rail Neer’s bottle.

What are the rates of the rest of the brand bottle?

Railways say that new prices will also apply to other shortlisted packaged drinking water bottles of all brands sold in railway complexes and trains across the country. But these companies have not made any official announcement by private packaged water brands like Bisleri, Kinley, Bailey and Aquafina.

Usually a one liter Bisleri bottle is sold for Rs 20, Kinle and Bailey for about 20 rupees, while Aquafina is sold for 20 to 22 rupees. After this move of the Railways, there is an expectation among passengers that even private companies can rethink prices to maintain competition.

Rail Neer demand may increase

According to reports, the decrease in the prices of Rail Neer may increase its demand among passengers, especially for those passengers who buy bottled water while traveling in railway stations and trains. However, private companies have often been avoiding prices by citing their brand value and distribution costs.
