58 trains canceled

After heavy rains, the situation deteriorated so much that the vehicles going to Delhi or further from Jammu, Katra, Pathankot, Amritsar are not running. Railways has canceled 58 trains in Jammu region. Important trains like Delhi to Katra, Delhi- Jammu Tawi, Amritsar to Katra are affected. Even today, the route of 64 trains has been shortened. These situations have arisen.

School-college will be closed

Educational institutions in Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed on Thursday (August 28) in view of flood situation. This information was given by Education Minister Sakina Itu. Itu posted on ‘X’ on Wednesday, “Schools and colleges in Jammu and Kashmir will be closed tomorrow (28.08.2025) in view of bad weather.”
