Arshad Warsi said, ‘My mother was a simple housewife who used to cook excellent food. During dialysis, the doctors refused to give her water but she kept asking me for water. I refused him many times. The night before he died, he called me again and asked for water but I refused. A few hours later she passed away. Arshad Warsi told that that night was very dangerous for him and even today he feels guilty about it.

The actor also told that he did not even cry after the death of his parents because he had kept himself so busy in handling everything. Arshad Warsi told that at that time his financial condition was also not good, he used to get Rs 175 for doing a musical show whereas the cost of his mother’s weekly dialysis was up to Rs 800. He told that at that time he was working only to keep himself alive and only then he understood the real meaning of financial freedom.
