Arya Babbar, son of veteran Bollywood actor Raj Babbar, is currently in the news for his latest interview. Recently he spoke openly about his father’s affair with Smita Patil and his attraction towards Rekha. Apart from this, Arya Babbar is angry at his step brother and actor Prateik Babbar. With this he has accused Prateek of taking advantage of his father.

Now things cannot be the same as before – Arya Babbar
In an interview given to Vicky Lalwani, Arya Babbar said that he always considered Prateek as his younger brother and he had love for him like an elder brother, but Prateek himself broke the relationship with the family. Arya said, ‘Even today, if he calls me and says, ‘Brother, I am in problem… I need you at 3 o’clock in the night, I will go immediately, but now things cannot be the same as before, I have got a very bad scratch. I messaged and called him so many times. I sent voice notes, but did not get a reply.

Arya Babbar made these allegations against Prateik Babbar
Arya got angry at Prateek and said, ‘When your career is not going well, you need pocket money from your father to survive. Then your father is father, right? You have to live in the house that your father built for our mother Smita, then he is your father. Meaning, when you have to get all the benefits, then he is your father. But when you have to respect him in the society, then he is not your father. What is this, friend?’

Here he is absolutely wrong – Arya Babbar
He further said, ‘If I love her as an elder brother, then I will say wrong where it is wrong and here she is absolutely wrong. Smita Maa’s child for whom Papa left us all and went away, today the child of the same Smita Maa is not considering Papa as his father. What could be more painful than the fact that earlier you used to call him Papa, but not now.

Prateek Babbar’s relations with his father and family deteriorated
Let us tell you that there has been tension in Prateik Babbar’s relationship with his father Raj Babbar and his first wife’s family for a long time. Prateek had not invited his father to his wedding. Not only this, he has removed his father’s surname ‘Babbar’ from his name and adopted his mother Smita Patil’s surname.

Raj Babbar married twice
It is noteworthy that when Raj Babbar married Smita Patil, he was already married and had two children, Arya Babbar and Juhi Babbar. He married Smita Patil without divorcing his first wife Nadira. Raj Babbar married Smita Patil in 1983. In 1986, the couple’s son Prateik Babbar was born, but Smita Patil died shortly after his birth on 13 December 1986. After this Raj Babbar started living with his first wife Nadira.
