Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave his speech from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Friday (August 15, 2025) on the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day. During the speech, PM Modi mentioned the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and praised him, on which AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi Bifir went to Bifar. They have called it an insult to the freedom struggle of the country.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) head and Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi, posted a post on social media platform X on Friday (August 15, 2025). Owaisi has expressed displeasure over the praise of the RSS in PM Modi’s speech in his post.

He said, “It is an insult to the freedom struggle to glorify the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in the Independence Day speech. The RSS and its ideological partners worked as soldiers of the British rule. He never participated in the freedom struggle and he hated Mahatma Gandhi as much as he never opposed the British.”

Glorifying the rss in an independence day speech is an insult to the freedom struggle. The RSS and Its Ideological Allies Served as British Foot Soldiers. They Never joined the fight for independence and hated gandhi more than they evrly opposed the British.

PM Modi reminded why it is necessary to know the real history- Owaisi

Asaduddin Owaisi said, “Happy Independence Day to all. Prime Minister Modi has once again reminded us why it is necessary to know the real history and respect true heroes. If we do not do this, the day is not far when the cowardice will be sold as the biggest form of bravery. Were.”

He said, “The ideology of Hindutva believes in boycott and it is completely opposite to the real values of our Constitution. Narendra Modi could go to Nagpur and praise the RSS as a volunteer, but why did he have to do this from the Red Fort as a Prime Minister?” He said, “China is still our biggest external threat, but even a bigger danger is present inside and it is the same hatred and partition that spreads the Sangh Parivar. We have to defeat all such forces for true defense of our freedom.”

Revanth Reddy on Pahalgam Terror Attack: A candle march was taken out in Hyderabad on Friday (April 25) against the terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam, which included Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, Congress leader Salman Khurshid and many other leaders. During this, CM Revanth Reddy gave his support to the Center to deal with the situation after the terrorist attack. He also appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give a befitting reply to Pakistan and terrorists.

Chief Minister Reddy said, “Strict action should be taken, even if it means mixing PoK in India.” He further said, “Decisive action needs to be taken by the Central Government to prevent incidents like Pahalgam.” Revanth Reddy reminded that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee compared the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi to Goddess Durga for the construction of Bangladesh in 1971.

CM Reddy said, “Remember you (PM Modi), take action. Whether it is an attack on Pakistan or any other way. Strict steps should be taken against Pakistan. It is not time to compromise. It should be a befitting reply. Moving forward. Moving forward. 140 crore Indians are with you.” He further said, “Divide Pakistan into two parts, mix POK in India. We will stand with you. You are a devotee of Durga Mata. Remember Indira ji.”

AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement to punish the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack and their bosses. Owaisi said that his party supports any step taken by the government in the national interest. He also reiterated his demand to fix accountability from the government.

Owaisi said that justice for the victim families will be ensured only when the accountability is fixed and the terrorists will be punished. He said, “No compromise should be made on the issue of terrorism. The demand of time is that the nation should be taken care of. Whatever steps will be taken for the interest of the nation, security and safety of Kashmiris, AIMIM will support it. In this important time we will have to unite for the national interest.
