Remembering his father, Ashok Chaudhary writes, “Your dream has come true, Papa. He further writes, “You repeatedly told Professor SP Shahi ji, sometimes in front of me, sometimes behind my back, that it was your heartfelt wish that your son become a professor. Those moments when you used to tell him this… perhaps I did not know its value at that time, but today when I am walking on the same path, I remember everything you said. Those things you said in front of Professor Shahi ji, that hope of yours are coming true today.”

JDU minister Ashok Chaudhary, close to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, will now also be seen with a new responsibility. He himself posted this information on Facebook on Monday (February 16, 2026). Actually, Ashok Choudhary has contributed as Assistant Professor in Patliputra University.

After years of waiting the path is now clear

According to the information, the JDU minister has written Ashok Kumar in his educational certificate and Ashok Chaudhary in his election affidavit. The matter was pending with the department due to lack of certain clarifications including confusion in the name.

An official of Bihar State University Service Commission had said that the discrepancy in the name was the main reason for stopping his appointment. Now the way Ashok Chaudhary has joined, it is clear that the clearance of documents has been received. The objection on the matter which was stuck has now been removed.
