Dabang Delhi has won the PKL 12 title by defeating Puneri Paltan 31-28. This is the second time in Pro Kabaddi League history that Delhi has become the champion. In the last one and a half minutes, Pune had a chance to turn the match, but Delhi’s defenders tackled Aditya Shinde and ensured the historic victory. Earlier, Delhi had won the title of Season 8.

In the final match, the team of former Indian Kabaddi team captain Ajay Thakur lost. Ajay Thakur was the coach of Puneri Paltan in PKL 12. In the first half, Delhi had taken a huge lead of 20-14 over Pune. Delhi slowed down the match in the second half. On the other end, Pune was also seen playing on a do-or-die raid.

Aditya Shinde used Super-10 for Puneri Paltan, but it did not work. On the other end, Delhi captain Ashu Malik flopped in this match, but Ajinkya Pawar and Neeraj Narwal compensated for Ashu’s poor performance by doing excellent raiding.

This player won the first title in 12 seasons

This was a very memorable moment for defender Surjeet Singh. He has been playing in Pro Kabaddi League since the first season, but he has won his first trophy after 12 seasons. In this long journey, Surjeet also played for Dabang Delhi, Bengaluru Bulls, Jaipur Pink Panthers, Telugu Titans, Tamil Thalaivas, Puneri Paltan, Bengal Warriors and U Mumba, but he got the trophy with Dabang Delhi.

Now Dabang Delhi has made a place among those teams which have won the PKL trophy more than once. Till now only Dabang Delhi, Patna Pirates and Jaipur Pink Panthers have been able to do this.

In the second qualifier of Pro Kabaddi League, Puneri Paltan defeated Telugu Titans 50-45 and made it to the finals. Puneri had lost the first qualifier, while Telugu Titans reached here after defeating Patna Pirates in Eliminator 3. Aditya Shinde scored the most points for Puneri Paltan in PKL Qualifier 2, he earned 20 points from raids, and 1 point each from tackle and bonus. Pankaj Mohite scored 10 points from raid. Puneri Paltan scored 32 points out of 50 from raids, while Telugu Titans scored 34 points from raids.

By the end of the first half, Telugu Titans had 24 points and Puneri Paltan had 20 points, but in the second half the Puneri team made a brilliant comeback. Puneri Paltan scored 30 points and Telugu scored 21 points in the second half. In the second half, Puneri scored 18 points from raids and 6 points from tackles, while Telugu Titans scored 17 points from raids and 3 points from tackles.

PKL final will be held between Dabang Delhi and Puneri Paltan

The final of the 12th edition of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 2025) will be played between Dabang Delhi KC. And it will be between Puneri Paltan. Dabang Delhi became the first finalist team of this season by defeating Puneri Paltan in the first qualifier. The final of PKL will be played on Friday, 31 October. The title match will start at 8 pm at Tyagraj Indoor Stadium in Delhi.
