Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has thanked Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for a post. Ashwini Vaishnav has expressed gratitude to Rahul Gandhi by sharing a screenshot of a post on social media platform X. Rahul Gandhi had shared a positive post regarding the increasing jobs in the country, but the question arises that why is Minister Vaishnav thanking Rahul Gandhi in the Modi government?

Reposting the post of the Leader of Opposition, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav wrote, ‘Thank you Rahul Gandhi for accepting the success of Shri Narendra Modi’s Make in India program. As you have said, we are becoming a producer economy by implementing the vision of our PM.

What did Rahul Gandhi write in the post?

Actually, Rahul Gandhi was giving the example of Karnataka, but in the beginning he talked about India’s growth and providing jobs. Ashwini Vaishnav thanked the Leader of Opposition for this. While sharing a post, Rahul Gandhi wrote, ’30 thousand staff were given jobs in just 8-9 months. This is the fastest factory ramp up ever in India. This is not just a statistic. This is transformative job creation. Which makes it even more powerful. That is, this unit is mostly run by women.

Karnataka has prepared such an ecosystem: Rahul Gandhi

The leader of the opposition further wrote, ‘Almost 80% of these are women. The age of most of them is 19 to 24 years. For many people this is their first job. Karnataka is setting an example by creating such an ecosystem. Where manufacturing can grow at this scale and speed. This is the India we have to create. Jobs with dignity and opportunity for all.

After the Udhampur–Srinagar–Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, Railways is now moving towards another achievement. Indian Railways has prepared DPR for new railway line and doubling to further expand the rail network in Kashmir Valley.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said during the winter session of Parliament on Friday (December 5, 2025) that the survey of Baramulla-Uri New Railway Line (46 km) and Banihal-Baramulla Double Line (118 km) has been completed and the Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been prepared.

Railway Minister gave detailed information about the project in Rajya Sabha

The Railway Minister said that after the DPR, the process of approving the project requires approvals from many stakeholders including state governments, NITI Aayog, Finance Ministry. Therefore, the timeline for completion of these projects will depend on various departmental processes.

Apart from this, the Railway Minister has also said in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha that the Udhampur–Srinagar–Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project has brought about a big change in the social and economic scenario of Jammu and Kashmir and has generated employment of more than five crore man-days so far.

USBRL Project one of the most difficult projects of Railways

It is noteworthy that the USBRL project is one of the most difficult rail projects of the Railways. This is because this project passes through the Himalayan hills, due to which it is counted among the most challenging railway projects of India since independence and the total 272 km long USBRL project has recently been fully commissioned. Under this, trains pass through Udhampur, Reasi, Ramban, Srinagar, Anantnag, Pulwama, Budgam and Baramulla districts.

The world’s highest railway bridge, Chenab Bridge (359 m high, 1,315 m long, 467 m arch span), has been built in this project, and India’s first cable-stayed bridge, Anji Khad Bridge, is also part of this project, whose pylon height is 193 m.

Benefits in tourism and business after operation of railway services

The completion of this project enabled expansion of rail services in Kashmir and after coming into operation, Railways has introduced four Vande Bharat Express trains from Katra to Srinagar, six pairs of DEMU/MEMU services — Qazigund–Srinagar sector and five pairs of DEMU/MEMU services — Srinagar–Baramulla sector, benefiting both tourism and trade.

The Facebook page of former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav was suspended by Meta, which has been restored after about 19 hours. When Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was asked about this, he said, ‘Government has no role in this.’ Let us tell you that Akhilesh Yadav has about 80 lakh followers on this page, where he regularly shares his political views, information about programs and things related to the public.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, ‘This action has been taken by Facebook. Government has no role in this. An offensive post was made from his account, due to which Facebook has taken this decision as per its policies…’

There was a stir on social media on Friday evening (10 October 2025) when the official Facebook page of Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav was suddenly blocked. It was told that this step was taken under the content policy of Meta (Facebook) and not under any government instruction. According to sources, a violent and obscene post was shared from Akhilesh Yadav’s page, which was considered a violation of Facebook’s community guidelines. For this reason, the company temporarily suspended the page based on its algorithm and policies.

Anger among Samajwadi Party leaders

After this incident, the opposition termed it a political conspiracy. Samajwadi Party alleged that the BJP government at the Center and the state are together trying to suppress opposition voices. After the account was suspended, anger spread among the leaders and supporters of Samajwadi Party. Party spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chand wrote on social media that suspending the Facebook account of Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the country’s third largest party, is an attack on democracy. The BJP government has imposed an undeclared emergency, where every opposition voice is being suppressed.” SP said that this incident shows that political pressure is increasing on social media companies, due to which freedom of expression can be in danger.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi Pradesh President Saurabh Bhardwaj has praised Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. He shared his experience on platform number one of New Delhi railway station through a video on social media platform x. Saurabh said that along with criticism, it is also necessary to appreciate good work.

Saurabh Bhardwaj told in the video that he had reached platform number one of New Delhi railway station. There he visited the waiting room of sleeper class and used the toilet there. He was surprised to see the cleanliness of the toilet, because it was much better than his expectations.

He said, “A person was posted there for cleanliness, who was continuously working. Seeing this, I felt that the railway was improving.”

‘Appreciation with criticism is also necessary’

Saurabh said in his X post, “I am at New Delhi railway station today and many times I have criticized the railway department and especially its minister Ashwini Vaishnav that the train accident has been very much and that is also true. But today I have come to platform number one, New Delhi railway station and I went to the waiting room of the sleeper class.”

He further said, “I used the toilet here and it was better than my expectation. There was a man for cleanliness and was quite clean. So I believe that if something is good, we should also do an unknown about him. So I felt that the railway has implemented.”

By the way, the railway department has set a record by railway accidents. But today, if you showed something well, I thought that the department should be praised on this matter.

Saurabh Bhardwaj’s statement reflects a positive step towards the reform of the railway. There are usually complaints about the cleanliness of railway stations, but this experience of Saurabh showed that the Railway Ministry is working in this direction. It is also clear from his praise that he believes in appreciating good work and appreciating good work.

Questions have been raised on train accidents

Please tell that disputes have often arisen about Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. Especially after train accidents, the opposition has been making sharp attacks on them. Whether it is a stampede or Balasore railway accident at New Delhi railway station, every time the Railway Minister has come under target of the opposition. On several occasions, there has been a sharp debate between him and the opposition in Parliament.

Listen good news! If you are looking for school for your child or you are worried about good studies, then take a sigh of relief. The cabinet meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the opening of 57 new Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) across the country. These schools will not only provide quality education, but the dreams of millions of children will also get new wings. For this, a budget of Rs 5862 crore has been announced, which will be spent in the next 9 years.

What will be spent on what things?

2585 crore will be spent on building and infrastructure. This means that all things will be made modern classrooms, labs and playgrounds. Apart from this, 3277 crore rupees will be spent on the salary of teachers to books etc. These schools will be ‘Adarsh Vidyalayas’ according to NEP 2020. Apart from this, Balawatika (for 3-6 year old children) will be included for the first time. In these, learning in sports and games will be all will be increased creativity etc.

Where will these schools open?

It is worth noting that the demand of Kendriya Vidyalayas is in full swing. At present, 1288 schools are running in the country, in which 13.62 lakh children study. In December 2024, 85 new approved were approved and now 57 new Kendriya Vidyalayas have been approved.

20 schools: In the districts where there was never a Kendriya Vidyalaya.

14 Schools: In aspiring districts, where the speed of development is slow.

4 Schools: In Naxalite affected areas.

5 Schools: In North-East and Hill areas.

In total, these 57 schools will be opened in 17 states and central ruled regions. Let us know that this scheme running since 1962 was started for central employees, army and paramilitary children, but now every child is getting benefit.

How much will be the benefit?

Seats for students: Every school will have 1520 seats, from which a total of 86,640 children will be able to study.

Jobs explosion: 4617 permanent posts from 57 schools will be of teachers and staff. Apart from this, thousands of people will get employment to build schools.

Results remain fantastic: The CBSE score is always excellent in Kendriya Vidyalayas. Apart from this, there are also modern teaching and facilities. This is the reason that 913 schools have already got the tag of PM Shri.

Why is this decision being considered a game changer?

This is a step to strengthen NEP 2020. These schools will also have multi-language, vocational skills, holistic growth etc. Actually, after Kovid epidemic has increased the focus on education and this step will progress in this direction.

India’s first bullet train project, Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-speed rail corridor is in constant discussion. Recently, a historical achievement has been achieved in this project. The 4.9 km long tunnel section, which has been built from Shilfata to Ghansoli, is now fully prepared. The last part was broken and added through the control blasting technique.

This tunnel is made from Natm (New Austrian Tunneling Method). It is part of the bogde that is about 21 km long sea, out of which the 7 km route will be under Thane Bay. On this occasion, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav himself was present and described the progress of the project as historic.

Delay in Maharashtra and now got speed

There were many obstacles in the project in the initial stages. The project was delayed by about two and a half years due to non -receipt of necessary permissions during the former Thackeray government of Maharashtra. Due to this, the cost of the project also increased. However, now the state and central governments are raising the project rapidly. The 320 km bridge porus has been completed and the bridge work on the rivers is also being done at a rapid pace. A large -scale guard launch machinery has been prepared. The special thing is that India is now exporting this technology.

Train service timeline and fare

The operation of the bullet train will be completely based on modern models. Trains will be run every half an hour in pick hour. In this, passengers will not be compulsory for reservation in advance. You can take a ticket directly and catch the train. It is expected to start in 2027. There is a possibility of expansion by 2028 by Thane. The entire line to Mumbai is likely to be operational by 2029. This train will be for model class and its fare will be kept resignable. Currently it takes about 9 hours to cover the distance from Mumbai to Ahmedabad on Google Map. After the bullet train, this journey will be just 2 hours.

Security and future plans

Complaints of cracks in nearby houses have been received from blasting during construction work. On this, the Ministry has said that precautions are being taken. Also, a clear document is being prepared in which there will be suggestions for safe schemes of houses around the bullet train track. This document will be handed over to the Government of Maharashtra and Gujarat. LocopyLats are being trained in Japan so that the best operation in India can be ensured. The Railway Minister also informed that a tender of 238 trains of new generation has been issued in Mumbai local. These trains will have closed doors so that the safety of passengers can be ensured.

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project recorded a historic achievement on 20 September. The work of about 4.9 km long tunnel from Shifata to Ghansoli has been completed. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the delay that was done during the Thackeray government in Maharashtra is now being expedited and the speed of the project has doubled.

Ashwini Vaishnav informed that this tunnel has been made from the control blasting and New Austrian Tunling method (NATM). It is part of the 21 km long sea tunnel, including a 7 km route under Thane Bay.

According to him, a 320 -km bridge porch has been completed and bridges on rivers are also being built fast. The service of the bullet train will be available every half an hour in pick hour and the most skin is that there will be no reservation compulsion in it. He said that ‘you come and take the ticket and catch the train’.

The scope of the project and the states benefit

Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-speed rail corridor is India’s first high-speed rail project. It is 508 km long and is expected to be completed by 2028. Maharashtra will give a boost to economic development, fast travel, new jobs and tourism. Around 20,000 direct jobs will be created in areas such as Thane and Vasai-Virar. Industrial advancement in Gujarat, diamond business of Surat, and fresh exports of agricultural products are expected to increase farmers’ income.

Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu edge

This corridor will also connect Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. This will give regional industries directly access to the Mumbai market and will attract foreign investment. Tourism and jobs are expected to be 5,000+ opportunities around Bilimora station. Better connectivity will make access to health and education services easier and will improve the standard of living. Ashwini Vaishnav said that bullet train is a big step towards India’s infrastructure and economic development.
