Some small changes are possible in the schedule. After the ACC meeting on July 24, the BCCI had informed the members of the Asian Cricket Council that it had to decide some things with the commercial partners regarding the schedule.

There was also doubt about India vs Pakistan match. According to the reports, the BCCI has agreed to organize the Asia Cup on Neutral Venue, so the India-Pakistan match can be played.

The Asia Cup was first held in 1984 and has been played a total of 16 times as the Asia Cup so far. But this is going to happen for the first time in 2025 when a total of 8 teams are participating in the Asia Cup. The names of these 8 teams are India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Hong-Kong, UAE and Oman.
