According to the report, on Saturday she reached Jalpaiguri Kotwali police station and lodged a complaint. It was told that no TMC leader was present with him at that time. Swapna Burman had contested the elections from Raiganj assembly seat. On this seat, he faced BJP candidate Dinesh Sarkar, in which he lost by about 21 thousand votes. After losing the elections, his problems seem to be increasing. The report said that some relatives and neighbors have also started maintaining distance from him.

Swapna joined TMC

On Saturday, TMC leaders Mahua Gopi, Prakash C Baraik and Ashtami Roy reached his house to meet him. TMC leaders said that losing the election is a different thing, but Swapna is the asset of the country and she should be respected.

After the fire incident, Swapna has also stayed away from party activities. Some leaders have claimed that she is not answering their phone calls. People close to Swapna say that now she may face financial crisis. Due to joining politics, he had to leave the railway job and also lost in the elections. Apart from this, she could not even participate in the qualifying round of the Asian Games to be held in August this year.
