Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has revealed that he was advised to hide in a bunker during India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ in May this year. His statement exposed Asim Munir and Shahbaz Sharif, who were hiding their failure from different platforms. Zardari said in the tone of Army Chief Asim Munir that we are Muslims and we know how to protect ourselves. On April 16, Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir had given a provocative statement regarding Hindu-Muslim.

Pakistan on the path of radical Islamic country

Now this statement of President Zardari clearly indicates that Pakistan sees itself as a fundamentalist Islamic nation. Asim Munir had made a similar distinction between Hindus and Muslims to support the two-nation theory and said that the two communities are fundamentally different from each other.

Munir made provocative statement before Pahalgam attack

Addressing a gathering of Pakistani citizens living abroad, Munir stressed that India and Pakistan are two different countries and Pakistanis are different from Hindus in their culture, ideology and other aspects. He said, ‘Our ancestors believed that we were different from Hindus in every aspect of life. Our religions are different, customs, traditions, ideas, our ambitions are different. This was the foundation of the two-nation theory. We are two nations, not one nation. After this statement of Munir, the first terrorist attack took place on 22 April.

Army created havoc in Pakistan in Operation Sindoor

India launched Operation Sindoor on 7 May 2025 in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Under this, the hideouts of terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) were targeted. After this, the Indian Air Force (IAF) also bombed the Pakistani army which had come to help the terrorists. IAF gave a stern warning to Munir and Shahbaz Sharif by destroying many airbases of Pakistani Air Force. However, Pakistan is still busy praising itself and Donald Trump.

We made Munir Field Marshal: Zardari

Zardari also claimed that now the international community is accepting Pakistan’s stand and even US President Donald Trump had praised Munir. He also claimed that PPP (Pakistan People’s Party) made Munir a Field Marshal. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has admitted that India had attacked Noor Khan Air Force Base on the morning of 10 May. He said that within 36 hours India fired 80 drones on Pakistan.

On April 22 this year, a Pakistan-sponsored terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 people lost their lives. After this, India launched Operation Sindoor on the night of 6-7 May. In this, a strike was carried out on terrorists by entering Pakistan. India had given ceasefire only after the request of Pakistani Army, but officially Pakistan has been denying all this. In such a situation, the confession of the President of Pakistan regarding Operation Sindoor has come to light.

Asif Ali Zardari himself has now confessed everything regarding Operation Sindoor. While addressing a program in Pakistan, he said that one of my representatives came to me and said that sir, the war has started. He further said that although I had told him 4 days ago that there was going to be a war.

‘The war has started sir, let’s go to the bunker’
Zardari told that his representative said that the war has started, sir, go to the bunker. Zardari further said in his address that we ourselves are ready for the battlefield. We are ready to fight with our own arms. We are also ready to sacrifice our lives. It is clear from Zardari’s statement that many senior officers of the Pakistani Army had also gone into the bunker to save their lives. During Operation Sindoor, Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir was also not visible for several days.

Zardari’s jackal to India
Threatening India, Asif Ali Zardari further said that forget that there will be bread, there will be bullets… We will shoot bullets, what bullets will you shoot. After the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India ended all diplomatic relations with Pakistan. Since the suspension of Indus Waters Treaty by India, Pakistan has written letters to the Indian government several times demanding its reinstatement.

India has given a sharp reaction after the remarks of Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday (November 5, 2025). India said in a strict tone that Pakistan should pay attention to the serious challenges related to its development. He desisted from making false allegations against India.

Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari had accused India that Delhi was using water as a weapon. After this comment, Indian Government Minister Mansukh Mandaviya gave a stern rebuke to the Pakistani President from the stage of the World Summit for Social Development held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

What did Mansukh Mandaviya say at the World Summit?,

Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Labor and Employment in the Government of India, said at the summit, ‘We strongly object to the inappropriate and baseless comments made on India by Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari.’

Mandaviya termed Zardari’s statements related to Indus Water Treaty and Kashmir as misuse of an international forum. He said, ‘This is a misuse of an international platform. An attempt is being made to divert the world’s attention from the real issues of social development by spreading misleading propaganda against India.

Clarifying the facts during the summit, he said, ‘In the context of the Indus Water Treaty, Pakistan has weakened the spirit of this agreement through continuous hostility and cross-border terrorism. He has tried many times to obstruct India’s legitimate projects by misusing the arrangements of the agreement.

Pakistan has no right to speak on Kashmir: Mandaviya

Mandaviya said, ‘As far as India’s Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, Pakistan has no right to comment on India’s internal affairs. This applies specifically when Pakistan engages in activities of cross-border terrorism against Indian citizens.

He said, ‘Pakistan should focus on the problems related to the development of its country because these are the problems due to which today Pakistan has become dependent on the doles given by the international community.’

What comment did the Pakistani President make?,

Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, during his speech on Tuesday (November 4, 2025), had alleged that India was violating the Indus Water Agreement. Terming this move as a serious threat, Zardari had said, ‘Now water is being used as a weapon against Pakistan. Violating the agreement means depriving millions of Pakistanis of their water rights.

Pakistan’s Field Marshal General Asim Munir can make a coup, many such media reports were revealed, claiming that Asif Ali Ali is preparing to remove Zardari and become Asim Munir and become President. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has already given his response to this claim, but for the first time, Asim Munir has broken the silence.

In a column published in a Pakistan newspaper, the columnist Suhail Varaich revealed that he had met Aseem Munir recently in Brussels. He wrote, ‘Munir clearly said that rumors of any kind of change in leadership are completely false. There are only those elements behind this which oppose both the government and the establishment and want to spread political chaos in the country. Munir also added that he is proud to be the protector of the country and he is not interested in any other political position.

Munir pointed to Imran Khan?

According to Varaich, when Munir was asked questions on political reconciliation, he said that political reconciliation is possible only when it is forgiven for honesty. Although the name was not clarified, it is believed that he was referred to to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in his jail. This statement shows the decisive role of the army in Pakistan politics and the increasing tension with Imran Khan supporters.

What did Asim Munir say about America and China?

General Asim Munir also expressed his opinion on foreign relations. He said that Pakistan will maintain balance with both America and China and will not sacrifice the other for one friend. Interestingly, he described the peace efforts of US President Donald Trump as real and claimed that Pakistan had taken the initiative to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Army and politics in Pakistan

Army and politics have been deeply involved in the history of Pakistan. Many times the elected governments were removed through military coup. This statement of Asim Munir is very important in this background, as it gives the message of stability and balance between the government and the army.

Also read: ‘We will help in taking a decisive decision’, what did Putin say in Russia on a meeting with Donald Trump?

There has been a new debate in Pakistan’s politics. It is being claimed that there is a lot of pressure on President Asif Ali Zardari to resign as Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir himself wants to become President. Now the reaction of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has come to light about this.

Shahbaz Sharif dismissed such speculation and said that Field Marshal Asim Munir has never expressed his desire to become President nor has made any such plan. Pakistani PM is always known for such statements, who praise the army chief. Shahbaz Sharif has never criticized Asim Munir in any case.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif dismissed the speculation of President Asif Ali Zardari forcing President Asif Ali Zardari to step down and was aspiring to the Pakistani military head Field Marshal Asim Munir. He has issued a statement in this matter saying that these things are just speculation.

Speaking to the ‘The News’ newspaper on Friday (July 11, 2025), Shahbaz Sharif said, “Pakistani military chief Field Marshal Asim Munir has never expressed his desire to become President. Nor does he have any such plans.”

There is mutual honor between President and Field Marshal- Shahbaz

Sharif said that Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, Field Marshal is based on Asim Munir and mutual respect between him and the same goal of progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

This explanation of the Pakistani Prime Minister came after a statement given by Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday (July 10, 2025). Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the malicious campaign being run by targeting Asif Ali Zardari, Shahbaz Sharif and Asim Munir. Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who is considered close to the Pakistani military leadership, said that we fully know who is behind this malicious campaign.

Asim Munir is made in discussions about the proposed Sri Lanka visit

At the same time, Pakistan’s military head field marshal Asim Munir is currently in discussions about his proposed Sri Lanka visit. In fact, Asim Munir is going to Sri Lanka from 20 to 23 July under the diplomatic journey, where very special arrangements have been made for him for the royal journey.

While Pakistan’s economic condition is in pathetic condition on the one hand, Shahbaz Sharif’s government is standing in front of international lenders for financial assistance. At the same time, Pak military head Asim Munir is going to visit Sri Lanka by special aircraft. Apart from this, special arrangements have been made for their stay for the Five Star Hotel, even helicopters for visiting the island.
