He said, ‘During the time of Congress Party’s rule, terrorists used to carry out attacks in the country’s capital Delhi. They used to fire even inside the Lok Sabha and the Congress government did not have the power to take action, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, if Pakistan plants a bomb in our country, we give a 100 times stronger response.

CM Sarma praised Nitish government

Sarma praised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his scheme for women. Assam CM said, ‘I was extremely impressed by the scheme of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, through which women of the state are being given Rs 10,000 and later on they are made Lakhpati Didi.’

He said, ‘I was so impressed by this scheme that I called Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and got complete information about this scheme and started implementing this scheme of Lakhpati Didi in Assam, which is a smaller state than Bihar.’

A major action has been taken on Tuesday (August 26, 2025) regarding Bangladeshi infiltration in Assam. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that in the last three days, a total of 51 suspected Bangladeshi infiltrators who illegally entered Sri Bangladesh International Border from 24 to 26 August have been detained and sent back to custody.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 30 intruders were arrested on Sunday (August 24, 2025), while 21 Bangladeshis were detained near Sri Bhumi Seema on Tuesday (August 26, 2025).

Anti-infiltration campaign will continue in Assam- Chief Minister

Himanta Biswa Sarma shared a post on the social media platform X on Tuesday (August 26, 2025). In the post, CM said, ‘In two different incidents, we sent 21 illegal Bangladeshi intruders back from Sri Bhumi sector. This further strengthens our anti-infiltration campaign.

He said that the state government will continue to take action on illegal infiltration from Bangladesh. He stressed, ‘Where the most hurt, kill them and send them back where they have come. These campaigns will continue continuously.

Assam police arrested 36 Bangladeshi infiltrators on Sunday

The Assam Police detained 36 Bangladeshi intruders on Sunday (August 24, 2025), who were later sent back. Of these, 30 were caught in Sri Bhumi and 6 in South Salamara Mankachar district of Assam. At the same time, two children were also included in these six people.

In the video, Abdul has thanked CM Himant Biswa Sarma after getting a battery wheelchair. He said, “I came to know that Chief Minister Sir is about to visit Kajalgaon, so I went there. I told him that uncle, I want a battery wheelchair. So he said, okay you apply for it.”
