Arshad Madani said, ‘The constitution and law of the country have been destroyed, not Muslim settlements in Assam. It is the government’s duty to give Muslims the right to live.

He said, ‘Power can be achieved by doing Hindu-Muslim, but the country cannot be run. Today the country has reached the point where hatred is being put on patriotism and the oppressors are being saved from the clutches of law. Arshad Madni said, ‘Not only Muslims, but the existence of the whole country is burning in the fire of communalism in the country.’

At the same time, in another X post, Maulana Arshad Madni said, ‘There are many muscles in front of Muslims, not one or two. After independence, communal thinking got a chance and an atmosphere was created against Muslims. Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind first came out against these forces. We will not fight on the streets, because it is harmful for the country. Our fight is with those who are leaving these communal forces open by staying in power.

He said, ‘Muslims have been living in India for more than a thousand years. From Kerala to Kashmir, there are Hindus and Muslims in every fraternity. Our history is no less than anyone. The growth of this country is possible only when mutual brotherhood and mail remain.

Floods in Northeast India: Due to continuous rains for the last few days, there has been flood in the north-eastern states of India. Road transport, rail and boat services have also been affected in the north-eastern states due to floods. At the same time, 30 people have lost their lives due to floods in Assam, Tripura, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for western Tripura and Khoi in its latest bulletin. Apart from this, due to floods, road transport, landslides, waste of crops and the problem of power supply in the states have been warned.

1300 families shifted in relief camps in Tripura

In view of heavy rains and flood situation in Tripura, a total of 1300 families have been shifted to relief camps. Apart from this, security forces personnel in Imphal are trying to evacuate people trapped in rain and floods.

Union Home Minister spoke to Chief Ministers of North-Eastern States

Regarding the flood situation in the north-eastern states, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has taken information about the situation from the Chief Ministers of Assam, Manipur, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh and has offered all possible assistance to deal with this situation. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared information about the conversation with the Union Home Minister on Sunday (June 1, 2025).

Eight people died in Assam

A total of eight people have died so far due to floods and landslides in Assam. According to officials, more than 78,000 people have been affected in more than 15 districts due to floods.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma posted on the social media platform X and said, “Union Home Minister Amit Shah took information about the flood situation in Assam and offered assistance. I informed him about the steps being taken in the state.”
