Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya has recently given a statement on the meeting held of Brahmin MLAs of BJP in UP. The Deputy CM completely rejected the allegations of casteism and internal strife in BJP and said, ‘There is neither Thakurism nor Brahminism in our party, only BJPism prevails here. BJP’s principle is – everyone’s support, everyone’s development, everyone’s respect and everyone’s place.

Talking to ABP, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Akhilesh Yadav has no issues left, that is why he is raising such unnecessary questions. He said that if an MLA goes to someone’s birthday, anniversary or to eat Litti-Chokha, then it should not be seen as a caste meeting.

Only BJP issue will run in Uttar Pradesh – Keshav Prasad Maurya

When he was further questioned, allegations were being made that Brahmin MLAs were not happy and the politics of Thakur versus Brahmin was going on under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On this, Keshav Maurya bluntly said that neither Thakurism nor Brahminism will work in Uttar Pradesh, only BJPism will work. Whoever follows a different path, his future will be in darkness. All the party members know this.

When the Deputy CM was asked whether Brahmin MLAs were not able to express their views openly and whether they were holding separate meetings. Where even name and mobile number are being written. In response to this, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that it is natural for MLAs to meet each other during the House. Just because some people are sitting and their photo is published, it does not prove that there is any dispute or casteism in the party.

On the question regarding getting bail for Kuldeep Singh Sengar, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that this matter is sub-judice. BJP or the government does not decide the decisions of the court. He made it clear that Kuldeep Singh Sengar has already been dismissed from the party and the government had stood with the aggrieved party earlier, is there today and will do so in future too.

Keshav Prasad Maurya, while targeting Akhilesh Yadav, said that after the defeat in Bihar elections, his mental balance is disturbed and that is why he is continuously making statements. He claimed that BJP is as strong as the Himalayas and is in power even today and will remain so in the future also. He said that the record of 2017 will be repeated again in 2027 and Samajwadi Party is not going to return to power. He said that the public has trust in BJP and its leadership and on the basis of this trust, the party will continue to win in future also.
