If you want to work in a big government institution then this is a good opportunity for you. IIT BHU, Varanasi has invited applications for recruitment to non-teaching posts. Through this recruitment, a total of 16 posts will be filled in various cadres including administrative, technical, library, system, official language and sports departments. In this recruitment, appointments will be made for different departments. These include posts like Assistant Registrar, Senior Technical Officer, Technical Officer, Library related posts, System Analyst, Executive Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, Hindi Officer, Chief Sports Officer and Sports Officer. Qualification and experience have also been prescribed differently for different posts, so before applying, candidates should read the official notification carefully.

what is the qualification

Educational qualifications have also been kept separate for different posts. For some posts, master’s degree is sought, while for others BE, B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA or PhD is required. Experience of 3 to 10 years has also been sought for many posts. Whereas for the posts of Library, Hindi and Sports Department, post graduation and experience in the relevant subject will be necessary. Therefore, candidates must check the eligibility according to their post.

How much application fee will have to be paid

To apply for this post, general, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500, while SC, ST, disabled and all women candidates have been given complete exemption in the application fee.

How will the selection be done?

Candidates can be selected according to the post through screening test, written examination, group discussion, presentation and interview. The institute has also made it clear that merely completing the minimum qualifications will not guarantee participation in the selection process. If needed, candidates with better qualifications and experience will be given preference.
