Defense Minister Rajnath Singh addressed an election rally in Bihar’s Aurangabad district on Sunday (November 9, 2025) in favor of Goh’s NDA candidate. During this, he fiercely targeted RJD and Congress regarding corruption.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that many leaders of the Grand Alliance have been accused of corruption and have been sent to jail. Many are still on bail, but despite this they open the buttons of their shirts on the chest and appeal to the public to vote. He said that our alliance believes that if there is an allegation of corruption then you should immediately resign from your post.

Whatever we said, we fulfilled it – Rajnath

Rajnath Singh said, ‘Today the irony is that politics has lost its meaning and meaning. Is there no other leader in the opposition under whose leadership this grand alliance can contest the elections? Today there is no such allegation against our alliance leader. He said that the resolution letter that we have issued is not just a declaration, it is an unwavering pledge. Look at our manifestos. We have fulfilled what we have said.

He said in clear words, ‘We will not do any wrong and will not remain silent if someone is doing any wrong. This is the character of NDA. There should be purity in politics. There should be no difference between saying and doing. Because when there is a difference between saying and doing, a crisis of trust arises.

The Defense Minister said, ‘This election is going to decide whether Bihar will have jungle raj or it will become a developed Bihar. Patna has changed a lot in the last 20 years. We have to make Bihar a developed Bihar. If Bihar becomes developed, India will also become developed.

Taking a dig at Tejashwi Yadav’s promises of providing jobs to every household, he said, ‘Whether they have studied mathematics or not, they can do it, we cannot. We have decided that industries will be expanded here. He said that wherever NDA people go, they say, come to our developed Bihar, whereas RJD and Congress people say, come, we will kill in Bihar. Discussing the promises of NDA, he said that a grand temple of Janaki Maiya is being built in Sita.

Maharashtra Government has changed the name of Aurangabad Railway Station to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Railway Station. This decision has been taken in honor of the son of Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Aurangabad city and railway station were named after the first Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. This decision has been taken on the recommendation of Maharashtra Government.

Aurangabad railway station was built in 1900 and was built by Mir Osman Ali Khan, the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad. This station is situated on the Kacheguda-Manmad section. The government had issued a gazette notification on October 15 to formalize this name change. From now on, the new name of the station will be used in passengers and administrative documents only – Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Approval given on the recommendation of Maharashtra Government

According to Railways, this decision was taken after the recommendation of Maharashtra Government and approval of Home Ministry. The new name of the station has been kept as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with the aim of honoring the bravery and historical contribution of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Railway officials said that after this change, all the information and tickets will be issued according to the new name. An official said that the Railways has completed all the necessary administrative procedures. Now the name of the station ‘Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar’ will be heard on all platforms and trains.

Earlier, the Central Government had also approved renaming Aurangabad city as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in 2022. Now with the renaming of the railway station, this process has been completed and the name of both the city and the station has become in line with the historical respect.

Regarding the Bihar Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda has entered the election field to campaign for NDA. While addressing a public meeting organized in Aurangabad district of Bihar on Thursday (October 23, 2025), JP Nadda has targeted the entire grand alliance including Congress, RJD. Along with this, he also raised questions on the grand alliance declaring RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial candidate.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda said, ‘The people of Bihar are well aware of the history of RJD and Congress rule. The Grand Alliance is an unholy alliance formed only to gain power, which will only bring destruction to the state.

Taunted on Tejashwi’s claim of giving job

Taking a dig at Tejashwi Yadav’s promise of providing employment to the youth and stopping migration, Nadda said that such announcements of RJD are reminiscent of the job-for-land scam. He criticized RJD’s election promise that every family in Bihar will be given a government job. Nadda raised the question as to where the money will come from for this and how the salaries will be given.

JP Nadda spoke on Bihar’s railway budget and Chhath festival.

Nadda claimed that the NDA government has done many things for the development of the state in the last few years. The central government has increased the railway budget of Bihar by almost 10 times. Of the 44 Vande Bharat trains launched recently, 26 are for Bihar. He also told that in view of the rush of passengers during Chhath festival, the Railway Ministry has increased the number of special trains to 12,000 this time.

Aurangabad news: A murder in Aurangabad, Bihar has been reminiscent of the King Raghuvanshi murder case.
