A three-day T20 series is going to be played between Australia and Bangladesh from 17 June 2026. For which Australia has announced its T20 team. Nikhil Chaudhary has been selected by the Australian team for the T20 match against Bangladesh.

Nikhil Chaudhary is from India and was born in Delhi. Nikhil Chaudhary has got a place in the Australian team after his brilliant performance in the Big Bash League. Nikhil Chaudhary is 30 years old and he is an excellent all-rounder.

If everything goes well, Nikhil will become the first Indian-born men’s cricketer to play for Australia in more than 60 years. This 30-year-old all-rounder player of Hobart Hurricanes has been a part of Delhi Capitals in IPL.

It will not be so easy for Nikhil Chaudhary to make a place in the playing eleven. Nikhil the leg-spinning all-rounder will have to face players like Joel Davis and Aaron Hardy in the middle-order. Nikhil Chaudhary trained with Australia’s white-ball group before leaving for Pakistan last month.

Selector Tony Dodamed said about Nikhil Chaudhary that the panel was impressed by his BBL form, especially his performance last season. Because of which Nikhil has been included in the squad. Nikhil Chaudhary will get very good experience in Bangladesh. When we select the team for the first T-20 match to be held here next week, Nikhil Chaudhary will be in the running to play his first match for Australia.

Travis Head was initially included in both limited-overs squads against Bangladesh. But then later Travis Head was given personal leave. Due to the absence of Travis Head from the Australian team, players were needed for the T20 match to be held in Chattogram next week. Australia team captain Mitchell Marsh is also out of the ODI match due to an ankle injury. But, he is confident that he will recover quickly and be able to captain the Australian T20 team in the T20 series.
