Mahant Raju Das in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh has once again given a controversial statement while laying the foundation of Babri Masjid in West Bengal. Raju Das said that if this happens then the incident of 1992 will be repeated again and not only this, those who laid the foundation will also be broken. Regarding Babri Masjid, he said that Babri was Babar’s girlfriend, has Ismail become so weak? Who will support a robber and rapist.

Mahant Raju Das of Hanumangarhi said that we have no objection to the mosque, but naming it Babri is wrong. Raju Das often makes such provocative statements. There has been no reaction yet to his statement.

Statement of Mahant Raju Das

While talking to the media in Ayodhya, Mahant Raju Das called Babar a ‘thief, robber and rapist’ and called Babri his girlfriend. In a warning tone, he said, “Who is Babar and Babri today? Babar is a thief and robber and Babri is his girlfriend. Has Islam become so weak? Has Islam become a den of thieves, robbers and rapists?”

He further said, “Listen carefully, O son of Babar, if you keep making this mistake, then Sanatani has woken up now. We had gathered more than 7 lakh Sanatani people in Bengal. If you do not stop such work, then we will repeat 1992 again. This time we will not only demolish the mosque, we will also demolish the builder of the mosque and will also drive out his collaborators from the country.”

Raju Das said that he has no objection to the mosque. But making it in the name of Babar is not acceptable. He said that today Hindus are united, there is a roar to be made, understand 7 lakhs in one roar.

There is a political uproar regarding the laying of the foundation stone of Babri Masjid in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. Suspended Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Humayun Kabir called for building Babri Masjid in Murshidabad, after which Kabir’s supporters came out with bricks on their heads. Kabir said that everything is fine and we are waiting till 12 noon. Quran will be read at 12 o’clock. After that a foundation stone laying program will be organized for the construction of the mosque.

Suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir has also claimed that the district administration is getting full support in this event. Murshidabad police and state police are supporting this event. For which Humayun has also thanked him.

Humayun Kabir’s decision creates ruckus in Bengal politics

After this statement of Humayun Kabir came to light, there was a political uproar in West Bengal. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reacted angrily to his remarks. Senior BJP leader in Bengal Dilip Ghosh alleged that leaders like Humayun Kabir are taking such steps only to earn their political bread and all this is just a despicable attempt to attract Muslim votes. He even said that due to the fight within TMC, such situations are being created in the state.

BJP took a jibe at Humayun Kabir

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dilip Ghosh also took a dig at Humayun Kabir during this period. He said that Kabir has attended many parties till now. If he has to do politics, he will have to form a new party. He should think about the welfare of Muslims, think about their salvation, and not take such steps just to garner their votes and shine his politics. The BJP leader also said that now that Shri Ram temple has been constructed in Ayodhya, Babri Masjid should be forgotten.

Uttarakhand Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams has given a big statement regarding the construction of mosques in the name of Babar. Shadab Shams said that no mosque should be built in the name of Babar in the country, because the word ‘Babar’ is basically the word of the language in which ‘Sher’ was addressed. He said that it is the name of an animal and it is not appropriate to name any mosque after an animal.

Shadab Shams further said that if there is a dispute over the name of a person or his name causes trouble to people, then building religious places on such names creates unnecessary tension in the society. He clarified that the Waqf Board will oppose those efforts in which there is a plan to build a mosque on the basis of any controversial person or disputed name.

‘Pasmanda Muslims oppose the idea and campaign of Babri Masjid’

He said that in recent years, campaigns were run on different platforms regarding Babri Masjid, in which it was said that Babri Masjid would be re-established at the same place. Responding to this, Shadab Shams said that Pasmanda Muslims strongly oppose such ideas and campaigns.

He said that Pasmanda society is in favor of promoting peace, harmony and social harmony in the country and it will not support any such step which will create confusion or tension in the society. Shadab Shams said that to take the country forward, it is necessary to adopt a balanced approach on religious and social issues and not promote any kind of provocative rhetoric or construction.
