The 1857 revolution took a decisive turn between the British power and the Mughal Empire in India. The last emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar was caught by the British and deported by Rangoon (Myanmar). The Red Fort of Delhi, which was once a symbol of royal splendor, gradually became deserted. Many of his sons and grandchildren were killed by the British. This defeat of Bahadur Shah Zafar was the beginning of the last chapter of the Mughal Empire.

Mirza Jawan Bakht, son of Bahadur Shah Zafar, was born in the Red Fort, but after the empire broke, his situation deteriorated so much that he used to beg in the streets of Delhi at night. They used to leave in the dark to hide their royal identity. This story is a symbol of how Prince was pushed into oblivion and poverty. Khwaja Hasan Nizami’s book Begamat’s tear mentions another princess, which was the name of Qamar Sultan Bahadur. He is said to be the grandson of Bahadur Shah Zafar. It is said that they used to say while begging or Allah, give me so much that I can buy goods for my food. His sad life is a lively proof of the decline of the Mughals.

Mirza Mughal and British vengeance
Mirza Mughal, the fifth son of Bahadur Shah Zafar, was also killed by the British. After the revolution of 1857, the British brutally murdered many princesses outside Delhi. With this, their aim was not only to capture power, but also to eliminate the legacy of the Mughal family.

The current status of the Mughal descendants
Today, some people in both India and Pakistan call themselves Mughal descendants. Most of them are living in oblivion and poverty. They neither got any government assistance nor special recognition. His stories are limited to history books and family stories only.

Historical role of Mughal Shahzadas
During the Mughal period, the princesses were also given responsibilities, not only the heir. He often led military operations. He would have been the patron of art, literature and philosophy. He would play an important role in administration and court politics, but after 1857, this entire tradition broke and Mughal Shahzade became an anonymous shadow of history.

Pakistan Journalist Arzoo Kazmi: Pakistani journalist Arju Kazmi is quite famous for her impeccable style. He has also been seen giving his opinion on Indian media channels many times. She also runs a YouTube channel of her own, which she has named Arju Kajmi. She hosts a show on her channel every day, whose name is sent fry. This time he has mentioned a person in his sent fry show, who claims himself to be a relative of Mughal ruler Bahadur Shah Zafar. Even that person has to say that Taj Mahal and Ayodhya are mine. This time, in the show, Arju Kajmi commented on that Ami’s statement in a very funny manner. He said that the kind of claims named Prince Yakub Habibuddin Tussi are really joking.

Arju Kazmi said that the Indian person has appealed that as a relative of Bahadur Shah Zafar, the Taj Mahal should be named after him and there is a lot of land in Ayodhya, which should be named after him. The female journalist said that Prince Yakub Habibuddin Tussi feels that PM Modi will come to him and say that Jahan Dahin is the command of you. I will do all the things in your name.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bd7_7kue7c

Who is Prince Yakub Habibuddin Tussi
Prince Yakub Habibuddin Tussi’s name remains in the headlines from time to time. He describes himself as a descendant of the sixth generation of Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar. Their dress and colloquial style also seem impressed by the Mughal Sultanate era. Yakub Tussi belongs to Hyderabad and has been in controversies many times. In 2018, he stated his claim on the Taj Mahal and said that this property was of his ancestors, and it should be handed over to the Government of India. However, his claim was not legally accepted.

India was once called a golden bird, but from time to time many foreign invaders in India attacked and looted the properties. The Mughals did the longest Raj Mughals in India. Looking at history, the Mughals ruled India for about 300 years. After this, the British ruled and India was a slave to the British rule for 200 years.

Now the question is whether the Mughals like the British also left India. How did the Mughal rule over India end and who was the Mughal emperor who ruled Delhi for the last time? Let’s know the answers to these questions …

Did the Mughals leave India?

India has fought a long battle for its independence. Sometimes foreign invaders, sometimes from the Mughals and then from the British. The British rule ended on 15 August 1947, when the British left India, but did the Mughals ever leave India? If we look at history, the Mughals never looted India’s property and took out in India. The decline of the Mughal rule began with the struggle with the Marathas and their rule was completely over, fighting against the British.

Who was the last rule over Delhi

The British rule came in India when the Mughals used to rule here. The East India Company slowly strengthened its roots in India and gradually captured. If you look at the history of India, there were many freedom movement against the British, in which there is a special mention of the revolution of 1857. The first freedom struggle against the British Empire began in May 1857. The fight was led by the last Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar II. The British forces won on 14 September in this battle, after which Bahadur Shah Zafar had to leave the Red Fort on 17 September. Bahadur Shah Zafar along with his three sons had taken refuge in Humayun’s tomb, although the British arrested him from there on 20 September, after which he was sent to Rangoon, where Bahadur Shah Zafar died here. In this way Delhi was occupied by the British.
