Karkardooma Court rejected the regular bail plea of ​​former AAP councilor Tahir Hussain and other accused. The court said that prima facie a case is made out. Therefore, bail cannot be granted in this case.

Former AAP councilor Tahir Hussain and other accused had filed an application for regular bail in the Karkardooma court in a case related to the major conspiracy of Delhi riots. The court refused to grant bail to three accused in Delhi riots, Salim Malik, Athar Khan and former AAP councilor Tahir Hussain.

Tahir Hussain had surrendered

An FIR was registered against Tahir Hussain (on 27 February 2020) on charges of Delhi riots. After this, he surrendered in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on March 5. There is an allegation against Tahir for the murder of IB employee Ankit Sharma and instigating riots during the Delhi riots.

Ankit Sharma’s father had accused Tahir Hussain of murdering his son. Due to these allegations, Tahir Hussain and other accused are in jail. All three accused presented their arguments in the court for bail. Which was rejected by the court. Let us tell you that serious charges have been leveled against the three accused under the Unlawful Activities Act (UAPA).

Police gave this information to the court

While giving information in the court during the hearing of the case, the police said that the allegations leveled against the three accused were prima facie found to be true. Because of this, there is sufficient basis to file a case against all three.

On this the court said that there are serious allegations against these three accused. Therefore all three cannot be given relief. Additional Sessions Judge Sameer Bajpai was hearing the bail pleas of the accused and he refused to grant bail.

After the Supreme Court granted bail to five other accused in the same case, the three accused had filed bail petitions, in which they have argued that they are facing similar charges.
