Indian sikh pilgrimage Pakistan visit: A large number of Sikh devotees of India have left for visiting Gurudhams in Pakistan on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi. On behalf of SGPC, a batch of Sikh devotees left for Pakistan through the Attari-Bagha border. These batch of Sikh devotees will also see many historical gurdwaras in Pakistan.

A batch of Sikh devotees left for Pakistan on Thursday (April 10) on Thursday (April 10) from the main office of Sharomani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee. The batch will return to India on Saturday (April 19) next week after celebrating the holy festival of Baisakhi in Pakistan and seeing various historical gurdwaras.

Before leaving for Pakistan from the main office of Sharomani Gurdwara Committee, a group of Sikh devotees shouted the Guru with full reverence. The entire area became devotional due to the echo of the devotees. After this, on behalf of the Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, the Jatha was wearing the siropau around the party leader’s neck and then the batch was sent along with the echo of cheers.

Devotees will visit many historical gurudwaras within Pakistan

Ravinder Singh Khalsa, a member of SGPC, said that this visit of Sikh devotees to Pakistan will be about 10 to 12 days. After which all the devotees will return next week. During this time, all Sikh devotees will see other historical gurudwaras including Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib, Gurdwara Panja Saheb, Gurudwara Dera Sahib, Gurudwara Nankana Sahib.

2000 devotees were sent for visa by the committee.

Ravinder Singh Khalsa said that nearly 2,000 devotees were sent by the Sharomani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee to issue visa and a visa was issued by Pakistan on all passports. This move of Pakistan raged a wave of happiness among the devotees. At the same time, apart from SGPC, many other batches are also going to Pakistan. In such a situation, the total number of passengers is around 7,000. Pakistan has issued a visa to enter Pakistan.

But in the meantime, there is a question in the minds of the people whether there are proper arrangements for so many people in Pakistan. On this, Ravinder Singh Khalsa said that it will be known only by going to Pakistan whether there are so many arrangements there or not.

Devotees who left for Pakistan expressed happiness

Ravinder Singh Khalsa further said, “On this auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, devotees who were part of the batch who visited their gurudhams in Pakistan were telling themselves happy luck. The devotees say that it is the biggest day to visit his separated Gurudham for every Sikh and all of them are going to visit their Gurudham, they are very happy with it today.”

(Report – Gagandeep)
