The range of 2.5 khh variants of this electric motorcycle is about 140 kilometers, 3.5 kwh about 196 km and 4.5 kwh variants of about 252 km. The Roadster X has a 4.3 inch LCD instrument panel which has features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-turn navigation, reverse mode and cruise control. In this segment, Ola Electric competes with electric two-wheeler companies like Ultraviolette.

Recently, Ola Electric stores in Maharashtra were investigated by the state government due to alleged disturbances about trade certificates. 146 stores were inspected in the company’s state. Of these, about 121 stores were reportedly being run without a trade certificate. 75 of these stores were closed by the state government. According to Rule 33 of the Central Motor Vehicle Act and Central Motor Vehicles, vehicles manufactures and distributors have to take a business certificate for registration of vehicles.

The company has got more than 60,000 bookings for Tessroad. The delivery of this electric will be launched in the first quarter of next year.

Recently Ultraviolette reported its electric motorcycle F77 Mach 2 Recon will be launched in Britain. Ultraviolette has partnered with Motomondo for this. For the company in Britain as well as Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg, it will take responsibility of importers and distributors. This electric motorcycle has a 10.3 kwh battery and a 30 kW electric motor. Its range claims to be around 323 km. It has features such as five inch TFT digital clusters, hill holds, four ride modes and dynamic stability control. The sales of electric two-wheelers have increased rapidly over the years. Many automobile companies have launched their vehicles in this segment. Bajaj Auto, TVS Motor and Ola Electric have a large stake in this market.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter (HMSI), one of the big two-wheeler companies, launched the electric version of its popular scooter Activa earlier this year. The cost of running it may be reduced. The company has reduced the cost of battery swap subscription for this.

Activa E competes with Electric Scooters of Ola Electric, TVS Motor and Bajaj Auto.

Bajaj Auto, one of the big two-wheeler companies, has launched the new electric scooter Chetak 3001. It is built on a new EV architecture with a 3.0 kwh battery on the floor. This helps in reducing the center of gravity of this electric scooter. With this, more space is also available as stability increases.

The price of Chetak 3001 is Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom). Its certified range is about 127 km. With this, Bajaj Auto has offered a 750 W charger.
